NFL Owners Vote on Raiders Succession Plan

It would give Egon Durbin, co-chief executive of Silver Lake, the right to buy a majority stake from longtime owner Mark Davis, if he or his ares ever, sigh to sell. Davis has made it clear he has no plans to sell anytime soon. But the plan locks in Durbin's option as a limited partner, and league rules would still require other owners to approve him as the controlling owner. Later, Durbin already holds a minority stake in the team, which he bought at 7.5% back in December 2024, right around the time Tom Brady joined as a part owner. He's also been involved in the Raiders head coach searches over the past two off seasons and serves on the board for Manchester City in England's premier league. Mark Davis turned 71 in May and recently took over his late mother Carol Davis' shares
