0:00On March 23rd, a team from NewsQuest, London recently swapped their beds for sleeping bags on the office floor to spotlight youth homelessness. They joined to sleep out in solidarity with Center Point, the UK's main charity for the cause and raised nearly 2,500 pounds through donations. Center Point got its start in 1969 in a London church basement as a shelter for young people. Today, it supports more than 15,000 individuals aged 16 to 25 each year, helping them move towards stable, independent lives, amid rising needs. Participants describe a tough night past midnight, battling the cold with extra layers and waking up stiff and exhausted. It drove home simple comforts like a warm bed and the safety of knowing they could go home in the morning. Luxuries many young people lack. Children figures show over 118,000 young people in the UK dealt with homelessness from 2024 to 2025. That breaks down to roughly one every four minutes, facing the streets without any preparation
