Unlike HRT, this non-hormonal option works by blocking brain signals that cause the symptoms. For years, women with issues like breast cancer history, blood clots, or high blood pressure had few choices beyond HRT, which isn't right for everyone. These hot flushes often disrupt daily life and sleep badly. NHS leaders say it's a game changer, offering real relief and good value for money. The once daily 45-mg tablet should help many fill more in control. With HRT still the top pick for most, this adds a key backup, bringing better options to those who need them most.
