New Member Named to Bagdad School Board

Yavapai County School Superintendent Steve King is excited to announce the appointment of Megan Fane to the Baghdad Unified School Governing Board, effective March 24, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Due to a family emergency, this appointment was held and finalized after the typical March first cutoff for appointments during an election year. She fills the vacant seat open by the resignation of Board President Holly Deal. Superintendent King expresses his sincere appreciation for deals dedicated service. Ms. Fane is a well-regarded and invested member of the community whose family is actively involved in school events and activities. As a vested community member with a strong connection to Baghdad Unified School District, she brings both a personal commitment to local schools and a thoughtful perspective to the role. Superintendent King is confident she will serve as a dedicated, capable, and community-minded governing board member.
