New Leader Elected for SA Football

Steven Trigg was elected chair of the SA Football Commission right after the SanFL annual general meeting. He replaces Rob Carrin, who completed his maximum two terms in the role. Trigg brings nearly three decades of experience as a player, coach, and administrator. He played 129 senior gains for Central District and North Adelaide. He also coached Thirds League and Reserve's teams. Many know him from his time as CEO of the Adelaide Football Club from 2002 to 2014 and later at Carlton until 2017. Now, he runs a wine company in the state. Trigg called the role a personal honor and a chance to build the game's future. He praised the Santa Phil's current strength and aims to make it the best development league in the country, with strong clubs and great weekly games.
