New Kid on the Block: Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) is a new medication for the treatment of type II diabetes with a dual acting mechanism acting as a GLP/GIP agonist. This episode discusses the new mechanism of action, some of the trial info that led to its approval, and its current place in therapy for diabetes management.
