It's March 30, I'm Corey with The Story, and this is Dallas News Today, your AI-powered local news. A massive housing project near Eagle Mountain Lake in Northwest Fort Worth just took a big step forward. The estate's at Eagle Mountain spans 836 acres and plans for over 1,100 single-family homes on lots from half, an acre to a full acre. An engineering firm filed a commercial grading permit with the city this Monday marking real progress. An engineering and American development group is behind it all, first dropping plans back in April 2024. About 5% of the land will go toward commercial spots, and brokers are already pushing 36 extra acres next door for businesses. This fits right into the wild population boom up in far north Fort Worth, one of the fastest growing spots in the country. The areas exploded with new communities around Eagle Mountain Lake and Saginaw, turning the city into a magnet for folks chasing that Texas. Meanwhile, Centurion snagged a nearby 629 acre master plan spot called Rio Clareo Back

on October 3, 2025. Together, these two spots cover nearly 1,500 acres and could crank out around 3,000 home moths. They also built the 5, 140 acre resort on Eagle Mountain Lake. No word yet on home prices, but with a public improvement district, are already greenlit for roads, sewers and water, and water, plus is just 2 miles from the new. Eagle Mountain High School, this boom shows no signs of slowing down.
