New BBC Comedy: Jones & Speirs' Midlife Friendship

Picture this, Clive, a 60-year-old widowed retiree teacher and shelly and a 55-year-old environmental officer navigating a tough divorce. It's a tender look at the ups and downs of relationships as we hit our 50s and 60s straight from BBC Wales and BBC comedy. These two go way back with Jones famous for playing Nessa and Gavin and Stacey and Spears creating the tuckers that South Wales family sitcom from 2018 to 2022. They've cross-passed plenty, including last year when Spears revisited his Murthier roots in one special and Jones gave a tour of her port call, upbringing in another. Barry Island Jones calls Spears an old friend and says working with him is always a thrill after more than 30 years together. Spears feels the same, pumped to collaborate again.
