Net Zero dies in the Strait of Hormuz

0:00Hello, this is Todd Royle. I am your host of Geo Power Energy and Real Politics. And today, we are going to all get a lesson, including myself in Real Politics. Obviously, we know the world is at war right now, whether it's Pakistan in the Taliban, whether it's Russian, Ukraine, or certainly Iran with the United States and Israel preemptively attacking it. One thing, though, has become abundantly clear. Anybody who thinks that we are at net zero, we are going to decarbonize or is the international energy agency said a few years ago, the incredibly unwise, ideologically unsound,

1:03you know, faith, they're all, the world no longer needs fossil fuels. Can we take that tired, global warming, environmentally driven, Marxist nonsense, whether from an imbecile teenager Greta Thunberg or the fools at big giant corporations or the black stones or the black rocks or the IEA or the United Nations or the former Biden administration or the incredibly destructive United States Democratic Party and its supposed green allies or the European green or the feckless leadership of Ursula Van der Lei or Kaia, the one from Estonia that they're foreign minister or Macron or Mertz, or Starmer Ed Milibrand or the fools who run Australia or New Zealand,

2:03the world runs on fossil fuels. That is an immutable fact. We have spent trillions on renewables and they've done nothing. Remember renewables, what I refer to renewables today, it's going to be the wind and the sun. Every single component in a wind turbine and solar panel comes from fossil fuels. Every single one of them, the incredible series, the Paramount Plus Landman with Billy Bob Thornton, the famous monologue when he talks about a wind turbine. Here's hoping that the creator of the show Taylor Sheridan and Mr. Thornton, the lead actor do one on solar panels, it's even worse. They come mainly from China, one of the most energy intensive things you can ever do is to make a solar panel. It's unbelievable when people to me think those things are green.

3:07If you don't believe me, please go read myself in the wonderful Ron Stein's book, Clean Energy Exploitations. There's a shameless plug. But it was interesting, there's a couple things that when we think about this, the world got a dosage of energy reality when Russian invaded Ukraine and all of a sudden when you take away Russian gas, the EU is crashing. In other words, a fossil fuel, not renewables, not a solar panel, not a battery energy storage system at grid scale which runs lithium and can never store electricity more than, I'll be generous and tell you eight hours. Most people would dispute me in say four to six. I can find even credible people who would say two, two hours. The best work I've ever seen on this was done, has been done by Mark Pee Mills. Mark does amazing work, Dumbur does amazing work on this, has written extensively on renewables.

4:11Dr. Chris Kiefer, pardon me, podcast a couple has gone into this. Dr. Kiefer's work recently on Twitter about the energy history of the EU is a must read Twitter thread, his podcast a couple does amazing work. Folks is on nuclear power but also does overall energy work as well. Between Dr. Kiefer, the recent interview of Dr. Kiefer and Dumbur is a must listen. Mr. Mills' work on all of this is great. But when I thought about some of this and preparing for this episode, the great LeBron James, the basketball player. Great debate goes on, who's a better player, him or Michael Jordan, the goat, the greatest of all time. What I would say about Mr. James and a thousand years ago I played basketball and I coached it previously as well is what he shows is a fact.

5:13Go YouTube, LeBron James's workouts. Go YouTube, his diet, his knowledge of the game. If you want to hear a genius at work, go listen to his YouTube about and with JJ Reddick on basketball. The man is a savant. Go look at his pre-game warm-ups or pardon me, we got warm-ups. How he gets his body ready activates his muscles. I mean, the man has a body of a 25-year-old. Yet here he is at 41 years old. The Lakers are playing as good a basketball as anybody. This man is so smart. He is now loud, Luca Donchick and Austin Reeves through the Los Angeles Lakers to kind of take center stage. He's now what's called the third option. I cannot say enough about how intelligent of a basketball player he is. How he keeps his body. In other words, there's a fact.

6:14Yes, Mr. James is 69, 245, 265 pounds. Go watch him play right now. He will fly through the air and dunk a basketball. Watch the game a week ago. He takes an alley from Luca Donchick. There's, I don't know, maybe a few hundred people in the world that can do that. Certainly nobody at his age. So in other words, there's a fact. Not saying you're going to be LeBron James, but if you probably want to be a professional athlete and you want to be at his level and you want to be at his level that high, then you better work out like LeBron James. There's been some great examples. JJ Redick had a legendary routine. Now they coached the Lakers and he said, I couldn't do it anymore. I was done. John L. Way, the great John L. Way, same thing said. I couldn't do it anymore. He was like, I still feel a football, but what it was going to take. But yet somehow, Mr. James can continue to do this.

7:17If this podcast ever gets to LeBron James, hats off to you. hats off to you for being a 41-year-old man and playing this way. And full disclosure, I've been critical of his politics. But man, the man seemingly is still married to his high school sweetheart, completely devoted to his children. That is a rare breed. That's a rare find right there. And then to still be working out the way he is and he's a billionaire. Well, what it shows is success is not necessarily money. Success is drive. Success is this man has the drive to do it. Sure, there's been reports he spends $1 to $2 million a year in his body, but he still has to show up to do all the workouts, to go to sleep, to eat properly. I would guess that the man probably doesn't smoke much, drink much.

8:20Again, think what you may think about his politics, but let me tell you what, you should admire that gentleman who shows a fact the same way we are seeing the fact of the Strait of Hormuz being closed. You want to be a professional athlete like LeBron James and you better have dedication like him. You want to have a modern economy. You want to not freeze to death, starve to death, die for lack of water. You better have a fossil fuel. Here's another thing that recently happened as well. Alex Trimba, he writes a publication called The Eco Moderness. It's through the Breakthrough Institute. They do just about some of the best work on nuclear power. You're going to read. I would definitely call them environmentalists, but they're realists. You can't, you'll be hard pressed to find outside of James Crelanstein.

9:21Anybody as smart on nuclear power in the environment as these guys, Ted Nordhaus, Adam, Dr. Adam Stein, you're hard pressed to find someone who can write more factually, persuasively than Mr. Nordhaus. Well, one of the folks that he works with, Alex Trimba wrote something so article called The Cruelty is the point on Paul Erlich and the Malfousian Malavailants, pardon me for mispronouncing that word. Paul Erlich, big environmentalist, there's not enough food in the world, so people should die and died. He's the author of the population bomb, you know, population bomb. He, oh, he's, has been famous for 50 years on Johnny Carson, just quoted over and over.

10:25You can't, I don't want to take away from this article, because they say that, you know, Erlich bashing has become universal. But it, let me quote them though, and he goes, it is because of how spectacularly wrong his high stakes predictions proved because the cruelty with which he spoke about babies, mothers, families, and the poor. This was that, you know, he inspired Chana's one child policy. They quoted as saying, it's estimated 20 million missing girls were largely due to coer sex selective abortion and infanticide. Why is this important? Because, because Paul Erlich is a god to the, to the modern Western environmental movement, which kills Africans, Indians, people.

11:28Because these are the fools who have said, oh, we can decarbonize. No, let me be straight with you. You will only decarbonize using a nuclear power plant. You will only decarbonize if advanced nuclear reactor companies like Tara Power, Copenhagen Atomics, Cairo's power, X-energy, new scale, G-E-Rinova, Hattachi nuclear energy, Westinghouse. You will only, only Russian, you know, rose atoms, Chinese companies. You will only decarbonize using a nuclear power plant. Whether you like the country or not, the Russians and the Chinese, or you, you know, you prefer Canadian can-do reactor, do you prefer the French, do you prefer a newfound SMR companies,

12:29it stands for small modular reactor, you will only decarbonize using a nuclear power plant. You will die if you listen to people like Paul Erlich, who comes from Thomas Malthus. Oh, the famed preacher in the 1700s, he said there wasn't enough resources and supplies and that people should die and not have babies these tired environmental arguments. I also credit Ted Nordhaus for talking about climate law fair. It will be in the show notes where these law firms and environmental organizations like Friends of the Earth, Sierra Club that Robert Bryce has done such excellent work chronically. The billions of dollars these people receive from people like the Walton Airs, you know, Sam Walton's rolling over in his grave or Steve Jobs's widow. How is it that successful men breed such unsuccessful women?

13:31Women that could be using their wealth for good, go build churches, orphanages, clean water facilities, water wells, agriculture, but no, they use it because they want to think of themselves as gods. Ladies, you're not. You're a bunch of Jezebel's. Let that one land on you. What this war has shown us? Never listen to Paul Ehrlich. Never, never. Ehrlich's own, again, I want to credit Mr. Trimbeth, because he goes, Ehrlich who was a proud champion of Malthusiasm. Oh, yes, get rid of people. That's what you need. Ehrlich has argued that the earth can only sustain

14:312.5 billion people, but his work has been, his work has been thoroughly discredited by the likes of Marquit and Condeset, you know, even Karl Marx and Esther Bolstrup. He, his memoir, he said, famine would take over that would kill hundreds of millions of people. No, let me tell you what's going to kill hundreds of millions of people. It's going to happen in the strait of war moose. If the hoothe is closed down, the red sea, the, the Bourneth has. If you want to close those down, which is fascinating, because wait a minute, I thought I was, we were told, you didn't need fossil fuels. That's what we were told. Yet, of course, a wonderful group. Oh, these guys, the energy bad boys, and a gentleman named Mitch Rowling as well. Please, please, please, please. Go subscribe to these guys on Substack. I can't say enough incredible things about these guys.

15:33They're probably the best energy model, modelers going right now. They talked about like the recent winter storm in Texas, that wind and solar, because they basically didn't work, because they're dependent on the weather. Laws set, Texans lost $766 million. Do you realize that the Cotari energy has said that because the Ross Lafon facility was bombed by the Iranians, but wait a minute, remember, we don't need fossil fuels. So why do we need natural gas? I thought we didn't need any of these things anymore. We're going to go net zero. That's what the IEA told me. Yet, somehow, they want to coordinate the release of 400 million barrels of oil. What I'm getting at is there are immutable facts. How early is an evil man? Don't celebrate him. Don't speak his name. Don't speak his name. In Goodwill. Everything he said was wrong. Every environmental organization right now don't listen to him.

16:33The Democratic Party, what at one point was a beloved Democratic Party, the party of Truman, of Kennedy, Scoop Jackson, you can make the argument the greatest geopolitical decision of the 20th century was a former, you know, now obviously deceased President Truman, not crossing the 38th parallel. Now, for it, we have South Korea, which has given us trillions of dollars of economic Goodwill, one of the bright shining industrial lights in the world are the South Koreans. You're hard pressed to find a better run country than South Korea. You are certainly hard pressed to find better shipping in steel and forging and certainly nuclear power plant construction outside of the Russians and the Chinese, then the South Koreans. Yet people like Paul Ehrlich

17:33would say, oh, no, no, no, get rid of all of them. Oh, no, no, no. Use wind and solar. Bill McKibbin, who has a new book on solar. I don't even like to, I don't even want to promote it. It's not even worth the ink. It's not even worth the paper, the waste of meat, the waste of Mr. McKibbin's time, which by all accounts is a lovely charming man. But has this ideological fantasy that the wind and the sun is going to power a modern economy? If that were the case, why has the entire world freaked out over the straight of hormones? I thought we were all going to net zero. That's what I was told. We were going to decarbonize. We were going to live in a zero carbon world. No, we were going to go carbon free. So why is the entire world, including the Democratic Party and the Greens of Europe freaking out? If you want Mr. Ehrlich's predictions to come true,

18:36take away over 18 million barrels of oil a day, which, if I can also recommend somebody else to you, his name is Anas Araji. And forgive me for mispronouncing your name, Dr. Anas Al-Haji. He has a firm called Energy Outlook Advisors, and he put something out called the Hormose Crisis and Alternative View. He gives some pretty interesting views that I don't have time to get into, but he definitely says the loss of crude and petroleum products is more than 18 million barrels a day. It was not such a big deal than lose them all. Blow up every single one of the facilities I ran and said they want to blow up. Go blow up every energy facility in I ran. They're Carge Island facility. 90% of their hydrocarbons go, the gas goes through there.

19:36Blow that up. Blow up Israel's power plants because we can run on the wind and the sun. Blow them all up. Taiwan. You don't need nuclear power. You're going to run on renewables. Why have they freaked out that they have maybe 11 days worth of gas storage? You never hear somebody going, oh, I've only got these many days of the wind and the sun. Because it's a joke. It's an alternative energy. If you want to use it for off-grid applications, great. Who do it? Why is it when a solar plant gets destroyed in Iowa because of a hurricane or a wind storm in Africa takes out some wind turbines? You hear nothing about it. That's not even ideological. Why does it see an end go, oh my gosh, we lost over 700 megawatts of solar in Georgia because of a tornado or a hurricane is hit an installation by one of the big utilities

20:37in the Carolinas because nobody cares because it means nothing. Our entire lives are bathed in, soaked in. Please forgive me for being crass but have sex with, shoot in our arms, petroleum-based products. Nobody cares that when someone says the wind and the sun are free, they're talking about the marginal cost. Okay, yes, when the wind goes through a turbine, it's free. But you will never recover the emissions and the dirt, the dirtiness and the environmental impact of a turbine compared to a natural gas plant. I would even make the argument a coal-fired plant is cleaner than a wind turbine because you have to back the thing up. You have to build two complete systems. You have to do all sorts of things with a grid that it was never meant for.

21:37We actually now know the amount of penetration it takes to block out a grid. Look at Spain and Portugal, the Iberian Peninsula, a new report has come out from their regulators. And we had about 78% renewable penetration, the grid went out. People argue with me, oh, the inverters were not working correctly, and they didn't manage the grid, and this didn't happen. No, some cloud cover came in. Isn't it fascinating that I can bomb a nuclear power plant and it keeps working? It's offering in Ukraine the Iranian one. They work. Yet a cloud comes over the Iberian Peninsula. It's over with grid sheds down. If you want Mr. Earl, you really have a choice on this. And go with me on this. Follow LeBron James.

22:38Excellence. Go with the lies and the evil and the disgustedness of a Paul Ehrlich and today's modern environmental movement backed up by people like the ACLU, the US Democratic Party, and European Greens. You will die. You do need fossil fuels. What you actually need, and I credit the great David Blackman who's been on the program before. He talks about coal is making a resurgence in America. And I said this before and I'll say it again. Please go follow David Blackman. Another gentleman named Nathan Hammer has a great article out called Qatar Under Attack, and he has identified natural gas powers the global economy. Or the gentleman you hear me talk about often. He's probably. I'd call him one of the heroes of energy public policy these days.

23:38I think he's Dr. Dashi. Forgive me if you are. If I'm saying your name incorrect, Mr. Dashi. I've quoted you numerously. I would love to have you on the show. It's even better. Called the Strait of Hormuz Crisis shows the world still runs on fossil fuels. Even further. There's a wonderful new writer on the scene. She's been for a while called Sarah Montobano called gut called Governor Holtchul. New York needs breathing room with its climate goals. Wait a minute. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. I thought. You passed your climate. You passed all your. I thought climate change was an existential threat. Can let me also say and you can call me a denier all day long. Please do. The facts, not my opinion. The facts show that global warming is not happening. The facts. There is not a climate doom.

24:39There's no need for climate legislation. Again, I would point anybody to the Breakthrough Institute and their work they do. Where they talk about many times climate legislation causes more harm than good. When you look at the natural variability of climate, if you actually want to lower your emissions, if you want to meet the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Climate Agreement, you do what the United States did, and you move from cold to natural gas. Now, I will tell you, I could care less about either one of those agreements. They mean nothing. It is nothing because whether you are a creationist and evolutionist or somewhere in between, the world has been warmer. It's been colder. It's had more CO2 in the air and more what's called particulate matter in the air before fossil fuels and before we had this many people. Why is that?

25:40You do not have to study this stuff all the time like I do. You don't have to be a climatologist, a scientist. You have to be any of those things. Because the climate, according to Dr. Willey-Soon, has thousands upon thousands of variables that affect it and just looking at one of the variables takes a supercomputer about 40 years to go through a question on it. Now, I will certainly tell you that is the God of the Jewish Bible. There is a creator of the universe. That is the God who sent us Jesus Christ, the Savior of ourselves and our sins, the Savior of humanity, that is part of the Holy Trinity, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I know many people you can mock me now. Oh my gosh, you're a denier and you are a Bible-believing inherently of the Bible Christian. I can hear Bill Marnow mocking the hell out of me.

26:40Go right ahead. I will take Pascal's wager on that one, by the way. But what this is really to not sit here and continue to be funny is this. And it's what I'm going to tell you after the break and I want to go through Todd Gdashi's article because it's so massively important to show you the role of fossil fuels in our lives. There's something I wanted to talk with you about, though, right now, from Tillig Dashi. And Mr. Dashi, he wrote an article that I mentioned in the first part of the show called the Strait of Hormuz Crisis. It shows the world still runs on fossil fuels. The entire thesis of this show is what I'll talk about facts and the facts are what this war has shown.

30:46And please don't tell me we talk about, oh, a crisis or a conflict or special operation. Are people being shot or bombed and the other sides you're doing it to each other? And you can't come to a political or diplomatic or economic solution. If you can't and you go to killing one another, that's a war. You have battles within that war, but that's a war. Please, I get tired of, oh, this conflict and no, no, no, no, no. Three nation states are warring it out with one another. Whether you agree or not about hitting civilian targets, World War II showed us that hitting civilian targets, you can win a war that way. By terrorizing and killing civilians, you can achieve success on a battle film. That means you have to agree with it doesn't mean you have say that's against international law. But I keep hearing analysts go, it doesn't work.

31:46Oh, yes, it does work. It's not correct, but oh, yes, it does work. Go read Kurt Vonnegut slaughterhouse five. It will traumatize you to go burn down Dresden for note, supposedly no good reason. But you had to break the will of the Nazi ideology. You had to go burn down then 80% of Tokyo to Japan to take out that Shinto Buddhism, racist, masochist, machismo that was the Imperial government, the Emperor worship system and the Japanese army. You are not going to do that by negotiations. You are going to do that by slaughtering and obliterating as many Japanese or Germans as possible. In the same vein, unfortunately, if you want to win this war or you want to stop this war, if you are the Iranians, you put the Middle East into blackout.

32:47You bomb every desalination plant you can. Now, that doesn't say you won't have a nuclear response from any of these nations. It doesn't say if I get rid of all the drinking water in Israel, they're not going to love nuclear weapons at me or the United States wouldn't do the same thing. But if you want this thing to come to a conclusion, you'll put the Middle East into blackout and watch people start dying by the tens of millions. Evil people like the now-to-see, the cease-paul early will get his wish. Less people on Mother Earth, he will get his wish. His population bomb and neo-Malphusian and the rest of these environmentalists who believe in that nonsense. Oh, you will get your wish. But let's make no mistake. This whole problem can be solved. World War II showed us that problems can be solved.

33:50LeBron James shows us that if you want to be a professional athlete, not saying you're going to be as good as Mr. James, here at his age, here is the level of dedication. Yes, he has got a genius level. Well, he probably is a genius at the game of basketball. He sees things like a Wayne Gretzky that others aren't seeing. But make no mistake, whether it's Mr. James or someone like a Steppen Curry who spends hours every day dribbling and shooting a basketball. If you want to be them, you better go put in the work. If you want to go win this war, you got two ways to do it. You can either slaughter people into oblivion or you can get rid of their fossil fuels. And I'm going to go through this now and you go, whoa, Todd, that is. Man, that is harsh. Very harsh. Truth is harsh.

34:50Let's just get some facts out there. The Strait of Hormuz is barely 20. And I'm going to be quoting throughout this article. The Strait of Hormuz is barely 21 miles wide. It's a nearest point, which makes this one of the greatest concentrations of economic risk on the planet. Which also, it's so stupid that the Middle East allow this to happen. Frankly, that the entire world, you didn't want to have backup pipelines. You didn't want to build another Panama Canal. You didn't want to do something or, frankly, you don't, then all of you should go and die ran together and literally level the entire country. And if that means every single person is killed, then I guess they are. You go into Yemen and you slaughter every houthi you can find. You can solve these problems. You just don't have the political will to solve these problems. You want to listen to fools like Rachel Maddow or Joe Scarborough or the rest of the U.S. Democratic Party.

35:50The American public were too queasy about these things. Well, go read your World War II history. Go read the wonderful Victor Davis Hanson's book, the best book on the second World War. The most comprehensive book that is one of the more chilling books you'll ever read when it talks about what was done in World War II. And any lectures you can ever listen to from Dr. Hanson about World War II, the hundred million people now. I've read new estimates that a hundred million people died. As people are getting better about finding graves, looking at dental records, basically finding out when someone passed away or was killed, they're finding more and more people from World War II. But listen to this, listen to this chilling what Mr. Dashi says. And Mr. Dashi pardon me, I cannot recall if you're Mr. Dashi or Dr. Dashi.

36:50When tensions flare in the Persian Gulf, the reverberations travel far beyond the Middle East. There fell to Mumbai, Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, Manila, and ultimately across the entire global economy. Again, I thought we were going to net zero. So who cares if I get rid of it? The person we probably should all be listening to is the CEO of Saudi Aramako, who for years has said, you're living in a fantasy land, international energy agency. If you think the end of fossil fuels is near and no more investments are needed. The world is not going to run on renewables, it does it now and it never will in our lifetime. Until you can unlock the physics and until you can capture controlling how much sun goes through a solar panel, controlling how much wind can go through a wind turbine, the speed at which you can go, the power it can deliver, the heat that it can produce, which it can't produce much of any heat at all.

37:52And until you can figure out battery storage systems at grid scale that can last for months at a time and not only deliver electricity, but deliver heat the way a fossil fuel can or a nuclear power plant can, then it means nothing. And you will then have to eventually say, do I go in and slaughter every Iranian I can find to keep the straight of hormones open, or we live with downtrodden economic depression, or we get every single hydrocarbon we can from the United States, but they're a politically unstable society because they still listen to the US Democratic Party, which means then I better go down into Latin America and get from the Baccamurta, Brazil, Argentina, Guyana, Venezuelan oil, Canadian oil, but they're run by, you know, the ultimate globalist fantasy, Mark Carney, Mr. Global Warming himself.

38:55Folks, the Mark Carney's of the world, the Ursula Van Delay's of the world need to be thrown into the dustbin of political history. You also need to know the US Democratic Party is dead. One fifth of the world's oil consumption and a similar share of global liquid natural gas trade passes through the Strait of Hormuz, making it the most critical energy marine choke point on Earth.

41:18The consequences of that vulnerability is still shocking. I'm actually shocked. The biggest shock to me is that the Chinese have allowed this to happen. The people who believe in the long game, the people who think decades ahead, five year plans, they allowed a significant amount of their 20 million barrels a day they import to come from the Middle East. You didn't do your pipeline years ago with Russia for more liquid natural gas. It is stunning to me that the Chinese have allowed this to happen. Now governments around the world, corporations, green groups are scrambling to conserve fuel, release strategic reserves, secure alternative supplies. You've got the Western hemisphere and that's about it. The Europeans are so stupid and so ideologically driven and listen to complete fools like Ed Milibrand or Keir Starmer or McCrone or Mertz.

42:29The Europeans have plenty of oil and natural gas to go get themselves. If you don't believe me, go back 25 years and just have a look. Go to the, when it then was the BP statistical review of world energy, look at the figures. They're easy to find. Go to chat GPT and put them in. I love what Mr. Todd, what he says here. Just listen to this, what Mr. Dashi says. The meaning, the heart of this show is the net zero fantasy. The spectacle 21 mile part of the earth is now crippling the earth. Bush, we had to go to a hydrogen and renewable economy because we had reached peak oil. Also, the people we talk about peak oil, there's a difference if you make something so politically tough or put on so many regulations, it's not recoverable. Take all of that off in the United States itself can supply the world with all the oil and natural gas it ever needed new reports that come out that said it looks like California has more oil than even natural gas than Texas does.

47:02Both the coast off the United States each have between 10 to 16 billion barrels of oil. Wait a minute, we can't drill out there but yet somehow Democrats and their democratic media allies said you can put a wind turbine out there. Thousands of them off waters, but you can't put an oil platform. That's a political choice. That's an ideological Marxist, Jezebel, evil from the pit of hell choice. Folks, there are some big decisions to be made. Oh, we'll stop. We'll stop. We'll get peace with the Iranians. Oh, if only the Jews, the Israelis, they run the United States. That's not what any of it's about. All of us need the oil and the natural gas that comes from the Middle East or you'll die. That's a fact.

48:02Do you realize about 20 million barrels of oil or for the Dr. Onaji 18 million let's just call it 19 million barrels of oil world consumes about 100 million barrels a day. A third of all global seaborne trade goes through there at 20% of all the LNG trade. But what about? Oh, the white man insurance agencies caused it and know that the US and their Zionist partners caused it. Oh boy. What's the spread between Brent WTI and on and on? Oh, about what about crude and Brent? Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes. But let me tell you something. Let's just take some other facts. Listen to the dependence that Asia. Remember, most of the world's semiconductors come from one place Taiwan and most of the world's electronics and a lot of technology come from what I'm about to talk about.

49:07Japan imports almost 90% of its oil through the Hormuz South Korea 75% Taiwan 70% India 50% China 35% Thailand 40 Singapore 35 Indonesia 30. The Chinese it's stunning to me 30 to 35% they've allowed this to take place. I understand the rest of these Western influence fools because they listen to Rachel Maddow and CNN. Oh, I don't want to I want to decarbonize and I want to use electric vehicles. The Chinese could care less. Call me dumbfounded that the Chinese have allowed this to take place. 90% of the oil exported through the straight of Hormuz according to international energy agency is destined for Asian markets.

50:09China and India remember these are Asia's largest in energy consumers rely on this. Now the world is looking at two pipelines to save them to pipelines. Anybody want to think maybe you should build 200 pipelines. The first is Saudi Arabia's East West pipeline network with a design capacity of seven million barrels per day connecting upcock on the kingdom's eastern Gulf Coast to the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea. The Houthis can shut that down. The second smaller pipeline is UAE's Abu Dhabi Crudor pipeline to Vajarai estimated to handle 1.5 million barrels per day. Do the math. 8.5 to 19 barrels, 20 million barrels, everyone to believe. Taking together energy analysts say, yep, great. You can offset a little bit of the 20 million.

51:10But what happens when the Iranians decide to attack that? I love this. Energy crisis reveal priorities with brutal clarity. I would tell you life and death clarity. When prices spike or supplies tighten governments do not turn to wind turbines or solar panels or electric vehicles or storage systems for emergency relief. They turn to stockpiled hydrocarbons across Asia governments have already begun implementing conservation measures designed to reduce energy demand. Well, let me tell you what's even worse in all this is fertilizers and plastic supply prices. Wait a minute. I thought we didn't need plastic anymore. No. You voted for Democrats foolishly in places like New York City with the fool who runs that place. And the deeply evil Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass and the rest of the Democratic Party that knows that is turned into a bunch of radical Jacobins who want you to die.

52:20So let's just get some facts out here about food. You first need some water and the Iranians can bomb every single desalination plant and thrust the entire Middle East to death within a week if they wanted to. The importance of that the straight of our moves extends beyond oil and gas is to dosing rights. The fertilizer and state estimates that exporters exposed directly and directly to the conflict account for 49% of global urea exports UREA 30% of global ammonia exports and half of global sulfur trade. That combination makes our moves not merely an energy choke point but one of the most concentrated nutrient choke points in the global food system. The Persian Gulf is a major exporter of nitrogen based fertilizers and chemical feed stocks essential for global agriculture and pharmaceuticals. Again, you are having sex with these products fossil fuels and you are shooting it into your arms drinking it, swallowing it in pills or having it nivies.

53:30Urea ammonia and sulfur products produced in the Gulf underpin food production across Asia and beyond. According to the United Nations CTAD estimates roughly one-third of global seaborn fertilizer trade passes through the street. The reason is simple. Fertilizer production depends heavily on natural gas and the Gulf possesses abundant gas supplies. The Middle East accounts for approximately 24% of global sulfur production and sulfur is the feed stock for sulfuric acid used across the nickel, copper and fertilizer supply chains. Sulfuric acid is a key input in manufacturing phosphate fertilizers used worldwide, used worldwide. It's almost hard to even talk about this anymore because it's so obvious.

54:33Every environmentalist now, I don't believe a word you say. The Democratic Party is gone. You want to believe in global warming and climate change. Go right ahead. You want to believe in an energy transition, net zero, decarbonization. Go right ahead. You'll die. You're going to die without fossil fuels. You hate Donald Trump. Go right ahead. It's all the fault of the Jews. Knock yourself out. Doesn't matter. The previous episode I said, do you think Israel was going to allow Iran to get a bomb? No. They'll use their own bombs on them. Do you think Iran was never going to use a bomb or shut down the Strait of Hormuz and begin to make themselves to recreate the Persian Empire again? These problems can be solved.
