Neolithic Southern Italy and Sardinia
About this episode
This week I finish up Sicily by talking about the island of Pantelleria and the chain known as the Aegadian. We then turn to the south of the Italian Peninsula to discuss the emergence of the Capri-Lipari-Scaloria Alta, Scaloria Bassa, Serra d'Alto, and Passo di Corvo. We go over their pottery and pottery while also briefly touching on the further expansion of agriculture and animal husbandry. We also cover two neolithic cultures of Sardinia the Grotta Verde and Filiestru.
