Negotiating for the Long-Term

In this episode, Bobo leads a discussion on Abram in Genesis 13 and 14. Soon after receiving clarity on the vision God had for him, Abram was tested from within and from without. First there was an issue related to asset management with his nephew Lot, who ended up in the midst of a geo-political nightmare. There is much to be learned about stewardship. Second, there was an issue with two kings: the king of Salem and the king of Sodom. One blessed Abram while the other tried to negotiate with him, getting him to forego seeking God's vision for an immediate win. As such, there is much to learn regarding negotiating and making decisions in our lives and work with the long-term in view.
