Meet: Nathan Wan is the Director of Machine Learning Platform at Freenome where he leads a team of researchers and engineers building a blood test to detect early-stage cancer. He believes that technology is most powerful when applied to the hardest problems we face not just as individuals, but as a society. Prior to Freenome, he led teams at Google for the Speech Recognition and Shopping Express projects. Nathan holds BS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
