Nasir Adderley Returns to NFL with Colts

0:00On April 14th, Naseer Adderley is making his NFL comeback after a three-year break. The 28-year-old safety just signed with the Indianapolis Colts, who made it official on Tuesday. He stepped away following his rookie deal with the chargers after the 2022 season. Adderley put up solid numbers in Los Angeles, playing in 50 gains with 44 starts. He broke up 12 passes, snagged three interceptions, and forced two fumbles during his time there. As a second round picked back in 2019, he hit free agency before retiring, so now he can join any squad. He teased his return on social media, back in February, and teams have been watching. The Colts are beefing up their secondary this off season, grabbing safety's Jonathan Owens and Juan Ye Thomas in free agency too. Adderley's experience slots right in. This move gives Indy more depth at safety heading into training camp, and Adderley gets a fresh shot to ball out again.
