Nacua in Rehab, Rams Star Denies Assault

0:00On April 2nd, Los Angeles Ram star-wire receiver Puka Nakua is in rehab right now, and his lawyer says he checked in well before a woman sued him last month for assault and battery. She claims he made an anti-Semitic remark and bid her shoulder on New Year's Eve. His attorney, Levi McCatherne, told reporters that Nakua's rehab stand started a good while back, and is not tied directly to the lawsuit. Instead, it's all about him working to better his behavior across the board in life. Nakua already apologized back in December after doing a gesture on a live stream that played into anti-Semitic stereotypes. Fans and the league paid close attention to that one. On the field though, the guy's been lights out since the ranz grabbed him in the fifth round out of BYU in 2023. Last season he led the NFL with 129 catches, 1,715 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns. He's set to stay in rehab a bit longer, and with the offseason here, he's also eligible for a big contract extension from the ranz.
