Nacua in Rehab After Lawsuit, Antisemitic Gesture

0:00On April 2nd, Los Angeles Rams-wide receiver Puka Nakua has checked into a luxury rehab center in Malibu. This comes after a woman filed a civil lawsuit in late March accusing him of biting her and her friend during a New Year's Eve dinner last December, plus making an anti-Semitic remark. His attorney denies it all, saying a sober witness backs him up and they planned a countersuit for defamation. Earlier this offseason, Nakua got heat from mimicking an anti-Semitic gesture on a live stream with streamers Aiden Ross and Neon back in mid-December. He quickly apologized on Instagram, saying he had no clue it was offensive, but that post got deleted later. Nakua kept bawling on the field though, catching passes and key games right after the alleged incident, through the playoffs, and even into the NFC, championship loss. Then a video popped up from Super Bowl night showing him stumbling around and dancing in the street before getting pulled into an SUV. His lawyer dropped word on April 1st that Nakua voluntarily entered rehab well before any restraining order request, which got denied anyway.
