Ja: 夏の日差しが眩しい朝、緑豊かな稲作地が広がる村に新しい噂がたちました。
En: On a sunny summer morning, a new rumor spread through the village surrounded by lush rice fields.

Ja: Rikuはまだ夢中で寝ているMizukiを起こし、急いで外へ出ました。
En: Riku woke up Mizuki, who was still deeply asleep, and hurried outside.

Ja: 稲畑の中央に奇妙な模様が現れたのです。
En: In the center of the rice field, a strange pattern had appeared.

Ja: 夜のうちにできたその作物サークルを見たRikuは驚きました。
En: Riku was astonished to see the crop circle that had formed overnight.

Ja: Mizukiは目を輝かせて「宇宙人かもしれない！」と言いました。
En: Mizuki, with eyes sparkling, said, ""It might be aliens!"

Ja: 「昔の伝説では、こうした模様は精霊が訪ねた印とされています。

Ja: お盆はご先祖様が帰ってくる時期。
En: Obon is the time when ancestors return.

Ja: 何らかのメッセージかもしれませんね。」

Ja: それでもRikuは半信半疑。
En: Still, Riku was skeptical.

Ja: 「どうせ何かのいたずらだろう」と考えましたが、Mizukiは楽しそうに「お祭りの夜に見に行こうよ！」と提案しました。
En: "It's probably just some prank," he thought, but Mizuki eagerly suggested, ""Let's go see it on the night of the festival!"
