But can we hear just a little? I think I might have shuffled you knighted. You are, do you hear it? Yes! Come on! We're back in the fucking hunt! This one is quite difficult to explain, but you'll get it as soon as you start hearing it. Hello everybody. Welcome to the football round ball. It's Friday afternoon. It's my video on Tom Marcus Feller. I'm Luke Moore and I'm Jim Campbell. Hello everybody. Welcome back to yet another edition of the legendary My Biddy Aunt. If that intro didn't get you up for nothing, we'll have a Friday. What a round. It was a good round, wasn't it? It was the greatest round of my body I think we've ever had. Before I get into that, we're going to just get a bit of admin. Vicious is not here today. So we're playing a league fixture. They all count though. They do all count.
And this is a chance to build a bit of confidence. The next time this is back, it's time to get in. Jim and Marcus versus, versus each other, I'm obviously hosting for the first time in a while. So bear with me. Yeah. Not familiar with all the buttons. Oh, you know what you're doing. And you know what the buttons are like these days. Yeah, there they are. Do it! There they are. It's worth remembering that you heard in the intro that the last edition of My Biddy Aunt featured one of, if I may say so myself, one of the greatest rounds ever. I think possibly the greatest. You had a very good Christian Vierry, I think. Was it a Christian Vierry? You had a Adriano. Adriano, yeah, back in the day. So there's been some good ones. Maybe someone put a compilation together with the ones over the time maybe. But I think I was I was fine with my life there. And I pulled out the bag. Still got hammered, but we had a little bit of hope for about five minutes. Anyway, before we get into it, just quick recap of the rules if you don't know them. They're relatively simple. Each round I'm going to name a footballer. It's normally broadly on a theme these days. And each of Marcus and Jim will bid for how many of their clubs the footballer play for they can name. The opponent can then raise the bid or challenge the other player to list them.
I should also point out that only professional clubs count and the player must have made a competitive appearance for that team. Okay. If you fail to meet your bid, your opponent scores. If you do name your bid successfully, obviously you score. First of three points wins. That's the admin. Let's get on with a game. Do you want to hear the theme? Go on then. It's international icons. Oh, there we go. I've looked through it. And wow, are you in for a treat? Wow. Wow. Wow. Some of them are great. Some of them are fucking hard. So just get just get your fucking head on. What do you need to have in your belly? Fire. What do you need to have in your freezer? My head. There we go then. Let's get on with it. Do it. Marcus, you're up first. All. The algorithm is telling me that we're going first. I'm happy with that. So Jim, I don't know if you're happy about that. Well, it doesn't matter if you might. Jim's bounce back from worse. Yes. It's the first player in this international icons edition
of my buddy aunt has played for six clubs. Right. He's Johan Cruyff. Oh, Johan Cruyff. He of the legendary Cruyff turn. Tim Javjoe's favourite player, let's we forget. I love to have all the time for a player. So number 14. Yeah. Johan Cruyff no longer with us, of course. Yeah, sadly. What a what a what a player he was. Yeah, died back in 2016 at the age of 68. Good age. Good age. Great. Great age. Marcus, I need to push you for a bid now, please. I'm going to start turning the screw a wee bit. So one of the things in my buddy aunt, you've got to get your tactics right. You've got to get in the head of your opponent, but also, you've got to get in your own head in a very, very calm and sensible way to buy yourself time. Yes. Need a bid. I will be doing all right. A forefitting of points. I'm a harsh taskmaster on this when I'm with host. I'm not like Pete. Yeah. Give me a number. Out of six clubs, Johan Cruyff played for. How many can you name Marcus better? Jim was definitely
I'm going to have to go for four. Four is all right. That's a good that's a sweet spot, Jim. Yeah, although I think I don't think I can go to five then. I think Marcus has got. I knew you got. You know quite a bit about Cruyff. It's a sweet spot. Four is. It's a big advantage to go first. Jim, do I hear five or you want Marcus to name them? I think I'm going to get Marcus to name them. Okay, bear me a second. Let me move my cup of tea out of the way for me, little monitor. Right. Right. Marcus, you used to name four clubs that Johan Cruyff played for. In his illustrious plan career, let's be fair. If you don't like this, you're not going to like the rest of them, because this is by far the most famous player in the list. Let's go. One at a time. Four clubs, Johan Cruyff played for. But he obviously played for IX. That's correct. And I think he had a stint of Barcelona. He may have done. He did. And he went back to the Netherlands. I hope I've got the right one here. And he mugged off his former Dutch side and played for fine. That's three. Say, listen, it's not bad. Right. You need one more though. This is the one. So I was fairly caught. I thought a much more confident it was fine or not. I'm not going to criticize you
for saying the Netherlands, by the way. Fine. Yeah. And he played in nasal. Definitely didn't play for. Well, I'm not going to start naming teams. He definitely didn't play for that. That was silly. I'm pretty sure I'm getting the right sit here that Los Angeles Aztecs. Tell you what, Jim. I think if we were to go into this game as listeners, knowing that Marcus in the first round would name Los Angeles Aztecs as a team. And it'd be right. We'll be in for a treat of a game. Well done. I had thought Lord of the Elstreichers. That would have been wrong. Quite when we played in nasal as well. Yeah. Jim, that's the first point. Marcus, that's the first point in the bag. Cool. The other two teams you could have named were the Washington Diplomats. And he did a little short stint on loan at Levante in Spain. Really? Yeah. So can I ask when or if you've not got that information? 1981. Oh, I've got that information in front of me. I've got all the information. Thank you very much. Okay. When Netherlands played Sweden in 1974,
World Cup, you're on Croix at the first ever Croix turn on an international stage. And despite getting to the final of that World Cup, they were beaten by West Germany. Amazing considering what it's called. It took you that long to do it. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to have to get on with it at some point. Everyone's expecting me to be on the only Croix. I know that plays football. Right. Jim, you're up first. You're a point down, of course. Good early start from Marcus. This player has played for nine clubs in total. Oh, good. To me, this seems hard that we'll see. He is, if you were bored in the UK, he'd be known as Lawrence Whites. But we know him. There's Lauren Blanc. Lauren Blanc. Okay. Nine clubs. Take your time. Yeah. I will. Don't you worry. Lauren Blanc was, of course, a key figure in the Leblur. Les Blur. And they say, Golden Generation. We're in the 1998 World Cup and the Euros, of course, two years later. And he scored the first World Cup Golden Gold in 1998 World Cup, I think as well. So that's why he's in there. So a bit of a legend. Nine clubs, he's played for Jim. What's your
opening bid? I'm going to go for four. Okay. Marcus, do I have five from you? Or more than five of you want to? Vicious of fun have gone way above the ears. Not unreasonably. I would do the same. Four was what I had down as well. Do I push it? Why don't you push it and get one wrong? Yeah. I mean, that's what probably, I mean, I'm... Do I do the countdown this game? Yeah, I can't remember. He's taking his sweet time. No, Marcus, I need a number please, mate. I'll go five. Okay, Jim to his six. He's a not. Okay, so Marcus, five clubs, please, if you don't mind. Do you remember to get one wrong? Jim, I might be chairman, we'll get two wrong. That lot of blocks played for. Let's make it an interesting one. So do you save one's first, maybe? Manchester United. He ended his career at Manchester United. That's correct. That's one. Now I'm suddenly looking at it going, maybe I'm actually guessing at four. Um, any play for Barcelona? He did. 1996, 1997. That's two. He did. Inter. 1999 to 2001. Correct. That's three. What am I? Okay. So you got two left.
Here are the sort of educated guys. Did he play for Marseille? He did play for Marseille. So they were your four? You sure you sure about those were you? Yeah, okay. So this is this is my guess. This is the one you need to get wrong. Five clubs left to play you to choose from in your bitter name. Five clubs in total. Did he play for PSG? Everyone. I know people listening and watching at home will wonder. Did Laurent Blanc in addition to playing for Manchester United? Inter. Marseille, Barcelona. Interestingly, your name is four last clubs in the row there. Did he also turn out for current French Giants, PSG? Jim, what would your money be on? I feel like he might have done. He didn't. He's won on. Did you play for Monaco? He didn't play for Monaco either. They were no. I was glad that. That's a bit of a signal. I actually wrote down Monaco. Who did you play for? So your name is last four clubs. Um, May night into Marseille and Barcelona. The first five clubs of his career were Montpellier.
Napoli. That's surprising. They went back to Neme. Then uh, San Etienne. And then Ozea. So no PSG, no Monaco means it's one or so many footballers were in that band for next. Marcus, you are up first this time now. It's a chance to get back in front. Come on, I mean, this is tough. This is tough. First of all, I mean, I do regularly have take exception to the producer's terminology of these certain players. International icons, to me, do not include players who've played for seven clubs like Tim Kayhill. Is it Tim Kayhill? Yeah. But he's in there. Tim Kayhill, for the purposes of my body art this week is an international icon. He's played for seven clubs. Marcus, how many can you name? Not many. No, I thought you might say that. Oh crap. Tim, buddy, Kayhill. Bloody Nora. Seven clubs, Marcus, I need to push you for a number, please. 3. Okay, three clubs. If he's going to spend that long waiting on three, I'm going to let him do it. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, before you do do it, the producers have been quite, don't mind
me saying quite a passive aggressive manner, put in some facts about Tim Kayhill that perhaps do make him an international icon. He's scored at three consecutive World Cups. The first Australia to score a World Cup goal made history at the 2006 World Cup player in Australia. Three clubs, he's played for that you want to name Marcus, please, by all means go ahead. Well played, Jim. So I definitely got two. Go then. Everton. Mill War. Correct. Now there's another one here that I'm just, it's not registering and I was planning on it registering in my mind. Okay, that's tricky. No, it's another Premier League club. Okay. Or at least another English club. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong. Come on, who is it now? Come on, Brain. Where are you? PSG. That's naughty. You shouldn't be doing that. It's your brain. Jim, that's poor by you. Jim, although I personally enjoyed it on a professional level, you shouldn't be doing that. You've got to separate the art from the artist. Come on, who am I thinking of here? Right, Marcus, I'll need another club, please, my friend. Do it. Mill was correct. 1997 to 2004. Then he went back
for a weasting in 2018 and he played for Everton from 04 to 2012. Who's the third club Marcus, please? I'm going to time you out if I don't hear a name of a club. I'm pretty sure that's right. Aston Villa. It's wrong. It's a point to Jim. Jim goes to one ahead. I don't actually know who you're thinking of because he didn't play for any other English club. Did he not? He went from Milwaukee to Everton. Then he went to New York Red Bulls. Shanghai, Shenua. Hangzhou, Greentown. Wow. Yeah, Melbourne City. Melbourne. And then a quickston, Jamshed Purr. That's where a consumer in Indonesia was. That's where my tactics were wrong. I've handed that to Jim there. I went first. I should have done two. I can't even remember Mill. I was like, yeah, really? I've just, yeah, I've just got absolutely lined this one. Yeah, there we go then. They are Jamshed Purr are in our Eastern India. There we go. It's two ones to Jim and you're up first to Jim. You get the initiative here to win the game. So the next player has played for eight clubs.
Okay. I think he isn't icon of, yeah, I think he's a kind of all levels of football personally, but you know, that might be something that our listeners and our viewers disagree with. That's up to them. Eight clubs in total. Did he a drogber? Oh, blind me. Jim, you're up first, of course. How many of, did he a drogber's eight clubs? Would you like to name? This is another tough one. Obviously, I've had a look at your answers. I got a few written down. Yeah, very nice. I'd like to hear a number from you, Jim. I mean, if you want some information to give you a chance to think, some information about what makes Julia Drogber a international icon, he led Ivory Coach to their first ever World Cup in 2006. He captained the national team to two Africa Cup Nations Finals in 2006 and 2012, and he was twice named African footballer of the year. Okay. But how many of his eight clubs can you name Jim Campbell? I think I'm just going to go, I'm going to go love again. I'm going to go for three. Three? Marcus, you surely have four or more. I'll go four. Four? Jim five? No. If you go five and you get it right, you can win.
Yeah. No, but I, I'm too many guesses in there. Okay. Marcus, would you like to name your four clubs that Didi A Drogber played for, please? To go two two and make it a decider? Chelsea. That's correct. Both of them twice, didn't they? That's good. You only get one point for it, don't. Marseille. He signed four Chelsea from Marseille. That's correct. That's two down two to go. Montreal Impact. Very good. 25th, 26th. One left. I've got the right club, Galatasaray. Did he play for Galatasaray? So Marcus, if Didi A Drogber didn't play for Galatasaray, Jim Campbell wins. First time you've won a game for ages, Jim. It will be. Yeah. So it'd be a big time for you. Who might have been you and your family? Yeah. But if he did play for Galatasaray, we go two all and it goes to a deciding round. Yes. Did. I think he did. Marcus Spudder correctly guess that Didi A Drogber played for Galatasaray, perhaps in the season 2013, 2014, maybe.
He did. Well done. Very good. You know, I actually had another one that came to mind. Gwyn Gomp. Gengomp. Gengomp. He played for there before Marseille. He would have five. I had Shanghai SIPG. Was that correct? No, Shanghai Shannua. Did you know what? I had the same one. You played the same team or not? I don't know. No one knows. No one knows. Yeah. So in total, we played for eight clubs with a said Le Mans, where he started, then Gengomp, then Marseille, then Chelsea, then Shanghai Shannua, then Galatasaray, then Montreal Impact, ending his career in 2018 at Phoenix Rising. Oh, blind me. It's too old. And Marcus, you get to lead us off in the final round, this cider. This player has played. It's nice to be sorry to interrupt, but Jim, it's nice to get points on the board. It's nice to still be in the game, isn't it? Yeah, it's even though I've had to grind you like that. Yeah. This player has played for six clubs. Before I name him, I'd like to tell you that he was a key player of Rajantina for many years. His standout moment being his goal in the 2022 World Cup Final win over France. It is, of course, anhel de Maria. Okay. Marcus,
you go first. There's six clubs to play for here. How many would you like to name as your opening bid? I think I'll be able to do four of these personally, but you know, it's easy when you're not in the chair. So it is. What do we reckon? I'll go four. Okay. That is a very, very difficult jump to compete with. I'm going to go for five. Yes. That is a, that is a fine around the cider level we want to see. I'm going to let Jim do his five. You're not going to go all six for the glory. No. I think of James BT last week. I know. But I think of your Adiriano stuff. Yeah. Oh, do you know what? I suddenly thought of his fifth one. I should have gone five. I bugged it out. Got me. Go six. Are you ever guess death or glory on your own terms? Go out on your shield. Are we not decided now? I can't believe I bugged that. He does have the option to bid six. I've totally stuffed this game. I think sometimes if people are, for example, whispering clubs into people's hands, you know, all bets might be off. Do you want to do six or not? He said no.
We said no. I'll give one more chance to find a round. It's far around the side. I'll give him a chance to go six. If he doesn't, we'll go to you, Jim. All right. I'll go six. Oh! Controversial. Controversial. I just love the game, Jim. I know you do. I know you do. I can't, but I can't. Jim, I, it's a total guess. I can't believe I've bugged this up so badly. But we haven't. How many of you? I have because I, I should have gone five and presumably you wouldn't have had six. Would you? Yeah. Well, Jim, I think it would be a hard, hard indeed to begrudge someone naming every single club as a last game decider to win a round. So let him have a chance. You know me. He's at the point. Yeah, true. Yeah. Six clubs, Marcus. I think that's legitimate. You bid six. I encourage you to do so fair enough. You did bid six. If you get all six, you were the other win. If you don't, Jim's were the other win. It couldn't be fairer off you go. Real Madrid. Incorrect. Yeah. Real Madrid, 2010 to 2014.
That's one down five to go. It's the United. Correct. One season there thought you'd do better. He did not. PSG is there for a long time. Wasn't he? That's three. Ben Fieker. He was there before Real Madrid. Juventus. That's also correct. So you had those five. Yeah. One of those I did not have actually. Okay. Oh, saucy. So you got one of his clubs. So Jim knows what it all comes down to this. Two, two. Yeah. This side up. So this is pure guess. And I'm going for a team in his homeland. And I think the only slight tickle I've got for an Argentinean club because presumably play for an Argentinean club unless I've totally bogged it. But that is the bid I should have gone for. So Rosario Central. Oh, lovely to hear them named. Lovely to hear them named. Yeah. They are a team in Argentina. Yeah. For the win did and how deep Maria play for Rosario Central. What's Jim's face telling you Marcus? Jim's. I don't know. Jim's either thinking he's got
the win. This is going to run a run. I'm pretty sure he's there right now, mate. I think that's where he's gone. Wow. Yeah. What a win. Glad to hear. Well, I nearly polished that. That would be one of my five. That's where he is now. Yeah. Was he? Did he start that? He did. Right. You didn't have Ben Fieker. No, they gone out. They went out of my mind. I had to pay for them twice as well. Yeah. Yeah. Play for them. 20 2017 and 2023 to 2025. I got away with that. Tactics were on K Hill. Tactics. That was a brilliant game. It won't feel like a T.U. Joe Winner. You're a winner. Well, I feel a bit fortunate to be honest, but let it look. You can't argue with that. Five rounds went all the way. It did. And you named all the clubs and the final one to win this year. Well, I knew you were going to have four or five opportunities to get a bid in, which was I think really cool and fair. Jim, I don't know, mate. Take it up with that guy over there. Do you want some breaking news? Go on in. Is it to do with Roy the boy? Bristol City have hired Roy Hodgson. Come on. Let's do our voice clubs. All of them he's managed.
I'm actually going to do that as a little bit of a tribute to the great man, but he's been hired by Bristol City at 78 years old, joining Homestead. Bristol City the first time. Odavold, Aurebro, Malmo, Neukatal, Zamak, Switzerland, Inter Milan, Blackbird, Rovers, Inter Milan again, Grasshoppers, Copenhagen, Udenazie, UAE, Viking, Finland, Fulham, Liverpool, West province, Albion, England, England on the 21st caretaker, Crystal Palace, Watford, Crystal Palace again, Interim at Bristol City. You can't keep a good owl down. Come on. Let's not take that pissy. Well, there we are. Roy Hodgson's the real winner in my body aren't this week. Absolutely. I think he is. Yeah. Thanks for listening to the football round, apart of the AKR's greater network. We'll be back on Monday to react to all the weekends football. Can I just say?
