My 4-Year Bald Experiment: The Shocking Reveal (I Was NEVER Bald!)
About this episode
In this episode, I break down the results of a four year experiment where I shaved my head and lived as if I were bald. What I found surprised me. I still had more hair than I thought, and the bigger issue was never the hair itself.
We get into the mental side of hair loss, how insecurity gets projected onto other men, and why confidence changes how people respond to you. I also walk through the four main options men have when dealing with thinning hair and why how you carry yourself matters more than the choice you make.

I shaved my head for four years because I was scared of going bald. Turns out I was never bald. Here's everything that experiment taught me. We're going live, baby. We'll do it live. You're listening to the premiere podcast for men who want to not only be better with women, but want to be better men in general. This is the come on man podcast. And here's your host Paul Bauer. Paul Bauer. Paul Bauer. Paul Bauer. Paul Bauer. Paul Bauer. He is a certified master life coach and the LP practitioner. It's true. It's damn true. All right, guys, are you ready for this? All right, here we go.
I am not totally bald, guys. Okay. If you guys are new to the channel, my name is Paul Bauer. I help men level up and get better with women. And the funny thing about doing that is it tends to make us better men in all areas of our lives. As you can see, the hair is back. All right, but here's the thing. This isn't really a video about hair. It's about what happens to a man when he stops letting other people's opinions decide how he feels about himself. Over the next hour, I'm going to walk you through everything. The four options every man has when his hair starts thinning. Why most of them are a trap. And the two biggest lies men believe about being bald that are quietly wrecking their confidence. Don't check out early because the second one is going to surprise you. So let's talk about the experiment, shall I? I didn't plan to do a four year experiment.
I genuinely thought I was going bald. But if you look, my forehead's huge, right? I do have a big ass forehead. I fully admit that, right? And if you look at my, my hair line from, from when I was in the Navy, I think, you know, my hair has receded. But I thought, you know, I thought it was going to be go much faster. And what's really fascinating is that all the family members that I have that have gone bald, like my brother, for instance, my cousins, my grandfather, and my mom's side and stuff like that, they all went bald, like in their 20s, you know what I mean? Like they all eventually went bald in their 20s. So the fact that I even had hair going into my 40s, I thought, you know, hey, it was pretty solid run. But I decided, you know, I should probably, I should probably just shave it. I should probably just own it at this point. And I might go back to it. I don't know. It really depends. It actually was a lot less maintenance to have to just shave my head every day, right?
But yeah, so I generally thought that I was going to bald. And it has, you know, it's still a little bit thinner than I'd like, you know, up here. But it's thick as hell all over the place. And nurse chick has been really enjoying her fingers through it. I have to, I have to tell her after I comment, right? The worst time for her to fuck with my hair, and we're not the eight-minute mark, is like right after I put gel in it and it hasn't, it hasn't cured yet, you know what I mean? And she just wants to touch it. Like for whatever reason women want to touch it and she'll walk over and want to like kiss me on the head and rub her boobs in my face or something and messes up my hair. I'm like, what are you doing? Can you, can you at least let it dry first? I don't know. It's good problem to have guys. By the way, I do have new episodes every Monday, Wednesday, Friday. So do be sure to like, subscribe, hit those notifications, would you?
So yeah, you know, I did, I'll be honest with you and a lot of, a lot of guys who are thinning on top or are going bald or whatever. I did have a little bit of anxiety with it. I didn't think too much of it. I always kept it pretty short. But when you're online, when you're on social media, and people don't like what you have to say, that's one of the first things they go for. And we'll talk about that a little bit more. They go for your airline. They go for whatever perceived weakness they could find and use it as an attack, an attack vector. And when I was a first getting into the podcast and first putting my stuff out there on social media, I would have people in the comments section being like, bro, bro, just, just shave your head, bro, just own it, bro, you know, and it was constantly weighing on me. And so finally, just said, you know what? I really should. I really should just shave my head, say, screw it and just own that shit. And so I did. I did. That was like four years ago. I remember the first reactions I got from some other content creators. I remember Clary.
The first time he saw me with a shaved head, he was like, what happened to your hair? I didn't tell her I was planning on shaving it. And I just shaved it one day. And I think I put it out there on social media first. I think that's how she found out about it. And she liked it. She was like, oh, yeah, no, I like it. It's good. But it was weird. It was like, that's, that's what started this whole thing. And in a lot of that idea of like what just own it, just share it or just shave it, right? That actually got that from Dr. Robert Glover and from Rich Cooper, right? Two prominent names in the space. They both address thinning hair or going bald. Actually, Christopher Canwell talks about it too in the time of contraction. Like all these guys talk about it because it is a major insecurity for a lot of guys. Like they are worried that life is never going to be the same. If, you know, if they're balding, they try to cover it up. They try different tactics. They, you know, which we'll get into.
But every one of those guys, Christopher Canwell, you know, Rich Cooper, Dr. Robert Glover and Rich Cooper and Dr. Robert Glover are both bald. You know, they both shave their heads. They all say the same thing, which is just own it, man. Just own it, right? Like life actually isn't going to change much when you just own it. And so I just decide, you know what? Screw it. I'm going to get out ahead of this. And I'm going to, I'm just going to shave my head. And so that's, that's what I did, which is going to lead us into the four options every guy has when their hair starts going because there's a lot of you guys out there that tune into the channel that have, you know, thinning hair or you guys have big bald spots or whatever. And there's lots of different options that I'm sure you guys have heard all of them. But let me ask you this. If you're dealing with thinning hair right now, which way are you leaning? Do you think? Are you fighting it or are you thinking about just saying forget it and shave it? Let me know either in the chat or down below if you're watching the replay. We have brother CW who lives up in Alaska. He finally just decided to shave it.
I think like a week or two or last week, I think it was. And I remember him posting it in the pack him with a shaved head. I was like holy crap, dude. I thought I'm looking at Jason stayed them for a second there, bro. Looking good. He actually looks, I think he looks really good. He has a nice round shaped head. I think the only guys that really would have a problem with that are guys with lumpy heads, you know, but even then they add some characters. But let me know what you guys think. If you guys are, if you're hair is thinning or you guys thinking about just shaving your head or you guys looking into hair transplant, something that I've had lots of people over the years go, Paul, why don't you just travel to the Ukraine or something? I don't know, maybe not Ukraine. Go to Russia or go to Turkey or something like that and get a hair transplant there. And I'm like, why? I'm already shaving my head. I've already found my solution. Why are you that insecure? Like that's what you would do is you would go get surgery. Like, you know, and no, you know, no shame. No shame. I actually have a couple of either friends or acquaintances that had the hair surgery. So we'll talk about that.
So that's actually a good segue. There's guys really have four options, right? You can get, you can get a two pay or a wig. And, you know, I think that might give you a little bit of confidence when you're out and about. But when it comes to women and being attractive for women, like eventually your secret's going to come out. You know, to me, I don't think a wig or a two pay is a viable option. And a lot of wigs and two pays look terrible. You have to spend a lot of money to make sure you have a good wig and stuff like that. They have ones now where they literally install snaps on your head and you get snapped. Which is like that's, that's going pretty far. Like, like, come on. Like, what any of you guys even consider doing that have snaps installed on your head. I think it's the juice isn't worth the squeeze as they say. So I don't like that. I think having a two pay or a wig, especially when like a woman figures it out, because eventually you're going to probably end up in a relationship and you're going to have to have a reveal someday someday she's going to stay over overnight.
And she's going to realize that you don't really have hair and you've been covering it up the whole time. And that by itself is going to make you look insecure, I think. Another option that I see a lot of guys use is Rogaine or Monoxidil and there's some problems with Rogaine or Monoxidil. So that's the kind of chemical that helps you actually regrow here and then they usually couple that with what is it finesteride or something like that which stops the DHT from attacking the hair follicles and then using those together tends to have you regrow here. The problem with those things is that those are notorious for killing your testosterone. So if you you know if you don't already have low testosterone that stuff probably will give you lower testosterone so something to worry about which I think is a bigger problem. So when you stop using Monoxidil it actually has a rebound effect if you guys don't know what a rebound effects there's certain medications out there that that make the problem even worse when either when you stop using it or with too much use so
there's one of those those medications where you'll have a major rebound effect if you stop using it which means it'll help you regrow hair but if you stop using it you'll lose it 10 times faster. Right so you're basically hooked on their product for like if you start using it so that's that's a big problem with that. Another drug out there like has nothing to with hair that has a major rebound effect is afferent the nasal spray I don't know if you guys have ever used that shit don't ever use that stuff okay if you have nasal congestion use afferent too much it causes a rebound effect that makes you just want it on a live yourself so bad so bad. The next option that you have is hair transplants right which which I mentioned a lot of people over the years like Paul just go to Turkey just go overseas get a hair transplant it's not it's not important to me right I if it's really bad and I really just don't like it I'll just shave my head again right like if if I decide I don't like this you know I'll just I'll just shave my head again right but like in that's I have all the equipment for it.
I don't care right I don't care I'm not going to travel overseas just to get a hair transplant but that's it that is an option and the thing is about hair transplants is you're usually just kicking the can down the road though you know that's a big problem with hair transplants is what they do with that is they take the hair follicles around the side which are usually less susceptible to attacks from you know was a DHT and then they they plug it in on the top. And then your hair starts growing out that way because now you have side hair growing on the top but usually that eventually goes away too you probably have bought yourself another 10 to 20 years and then it's going to go again so a lot of times when you have hair transplants they'll put you on Rogaine to to try to prevent you know and finesse right to prevent it from going away. You know there are there are natural solutions out there to block DHT if you guys look out there there's there's peptide shampoos that are have natural DHT blockers in there there's supplements you can take that have not natural DHT blockers like salt pomato and pumpkin seed.
You know oil and stuff like that supplements those are supposed to help reduce the the the effect of DHT on your hair follicles I don't know if that works or not but allegedly so that's also that's also an option if you get like a hair transplant but I'll tell you what man there's a guy in the space that he's been on the podcast at least a couple of times I've been on his podcast a couple of times. His name is Rudy from root advice and he had a hair transplant and he ended up blocking me a couple months ago I don't know why but he blocked me on like all social media I don't know what I did to piss that guy off but I have noticed because he was recently on a podcast with a mutual equipment quaintance and that guy was posted clips of their interview and I noticed that. Rudy looks like his hair's thinning again he had the hair transplant surgery a couple years ago and it looks like it's it's starting to recede again and I was like man did that's rough that's rough you spend thousands of dollars tens of thousands of dollars on hair transplant and it's it's thinning again it's like what what a monumental waste of money you know what I mean it's sad.
So I kind of feel for that guy but the last option is to just own it to just own it and that's what Christopher can will talks about Christopher can will actually cite studies that show that women are actually a lot of women out there are attracted to men with with the ball look there are lots of women out there that are attracted to men with the ball look and if you just own it and you you don't let it bother you it actually signals confidence which is actually. It's more attractive to women okay so to me that's the best option just get out ahead of it okay because balding you have no choice over that but shaving your head is a choice and that's something that you can own and control. And I'm always about controlling the controllable on this podcast right you got to control the controllable you can't control your genetics and you know male pattern baldness and on your mom side of the family right so. Get out ahead of it just own it because because shaving your head is a choice okay shaving your head is a choice.
And then a lot largely one thing that I don't think I don't think that's a migtail guys and like black the black pill side of migtail I would say and the self proclaim insult guys that always look for reasons to give up they would totally use something like this as well you know. They'll find find some statistic online and go yeah see this is why i'm going to be forever alone I might as well just give up you know because women don't go for bald guys and these are all stuff limiting beliefs right. And what a lot of those types of guys don't understand is that there is an idea out there that that teaches you to minimize your weakness and maximize other areas right maximize your strength okay you can't. Control male pattern baldness but what you can control is whether you shave your head or not so take that control shave your head minimize that weakness by owning it.
And then work on other things right like maybe grow out some facial hair maybe work on your physique a little bit go to the gym you know work on that you know maybe lose some weight something like that because if you you can control all that stuff so control that okay. Let go of this just shave it and then focus on other areas that you can control like your your physique your game your mental frame the clothes that you wear you know so minimize weakness maximize your strengths okay that's what I'd recommend if you have a hard time with any of the stuff you sort of have self limiting beliefs. You know you're worried about confidence is something that what I would recommend is rewiring those paradigms that you have about the stuff that makes you insecure. Have you ever felt like something's holding you back in your relationships like you're always on the back foot struggling to connect with women you're not alone. Indeed you know it's weird though it's on camera to me my hair looks like way different like in the mirror looks looks better like a camera like I don't know if I like this I don't know I don't care about it. Let's go through the chat here I at the beginning I said smash that like button and my man here said just smashed it hell yeah smash it like you smash a single mom right. And then Dale says so much hair and AJ says nice to pay man if I get out of to pay I've got a better to pay I'll tell you what brother john says good morning y'all. And then he said you went to the wrong doctor in turkey. That's exactly what they're someone in here said what are they going to make fun of you for now that's what they're going to say nursery says good morning gentlemen looking good babe thank you and and nurse chick is going to get the naughty.
I'm going to come that pussy must be ridiculous it is I don't think that went through all the way hold on I'm so naughty there we go I'm going to come yep that pussy must be ridiculous it is guys it is. We got who else we got here Tracy says you look better bald okay fair enough thanks brother it might also be that you just aren't used to this yet but you know that which we're going to get into here morning guys is it chia pet Friday now. Come out says who's this guy where's my man Paul and then yeah ages right you're bald every hater online that's that yeah I turned it into a drinking game I was and that's one of the things that this experiment taught me is people a lot of times your your haters are just looking for an attack vector and if you shave your head it's like the easiest attack vector for they can't challenge your ideas so they just go for let me just make fun of his bald head right which you you know you've already won the argument if that's what you're doing.
You want the argument if that's what they go for you're like all right you know that's you're you're just being silly let's see here Darfinis is wait you're not bald what will people use to shame you with now even though you're not giving them that great information well they'll say you know I'm balding because the big forehead you know they'll make fun of the big ass forehead they'll whatever it's one of those things where like Ryan Stone he talks about never never ship putting pictures of your girl out there because half the internet is going to want a banger and the other half is going to call her mid it's like basically the people that are that hate you are going to find a reason to to hate you and talk shit anyway so doesn't really matter it's like they'll find something I can I get shaved ahead I can have the hair they'll find a reason to talk shit you know and then happy Friday Jen smashing that like button is alpha that's true and AJ says nine years of shaving it bald best ascetics decision I've made yeah and you actually look pretty good bald and then brother john here who's also a bald brother he says what in the wide wide world of sports is going on here see W who's also a new a new bald brother who we talked about says morning gents and nurse chick look look at that hair own it with pride but
don't call me bud pal don't call me pal ace dars fitness says I plan to grow my hair out for the rest of my life and rock my two bullhorn braids but if I start to go bald I'll shave my head and rock a beard perfect there you go and then Tracy says best decision I made was to shave it and keep it shaved cool yeah that's good man and then yeah cw's rocking it and then dar fitness says I did shave my head all through my through high school though until my senior year mainly for simplicity right oh it does so low maintenance you know I like every two days I would go over it with the the electric I had one of those skull shavers the the electric skull shavers every two days I'd go over it and and it would be pretty good take about five minutes in the morning you know this takes me way longer in the morning to get it shaped right and it's still not wait the way I want it but I'm trying to let the top here grow a little bit longer in the back it's
it's really getting long and curly back there I think it's the longest I've ever let it go so we'll let this go for a while and then if I get tired of it I'll fucking cut it or shave it or whatever he says yeah that's like 40% hair 40 see there you go there you go I developed alopecia totalis in my late 30s while it's while it stopped and most came back I still shave yeah and I pro I'm I probably will it just really depends on where we go with it I just like I like to change things up everyone's while that's why like um like two years ago I grew the beard out really long and then lately I've been growing the growth uh grow to it and then let this come in and then just let the go to go and I finally just got sick of it yesterday and I I buzzed down the go to you too I just like to change things up everyone's while that just out of pure boredom you know uh darfriend says I did have a lumpy head think shame batia is it batie or batie or I don't know if you don't know who that is Google I'll have to Google it uh John says I use a razor and a rotate
Okay. And then CW says Wigs are only good for either cosplay or Halloween. Yeah, I agree. And please stop spamming the chat with ads. Well, a brother's got to make a living. So if you don't like it. Oh, he's talking to stream elements. That's why I put stream elements there because a brother's got to make a living if you don't like it. Kick rocks. Okay. Go watch it on a Facebook. You won't see stream elements there. Just ask the boxer who got his top blown off. Literally the hair unit got knocked out. Oh, was there a boxer with a Did he have a two pay and he got knocked off? That's that's not a good idea. DHT is a hell of a hormone, make you bald, but gives you a glorious Viking beard. Yes. Isn't that weird? Like when you're bald, like your hair grows everywhere else. Camel says problems with products like Rogaine is you have to take them for the rest of your life. Yeah. And honestly, like I'm on TRT and TRT is kind of like that too though.
So it's, I don't know. It kind of sucks, but otherwise like I feel like I'm a 20 year old. So I don't know. Detoxing from Aferin. Yeah. Oh, dude. Yeah, Aferin's fucking awful, dude. I won't ever take that. I was hooked on Aferin at one point in my life. It was hell getting off of it. Oh, you can get hooked on Aferin. I didn't know that. And then Shreddy Eddie $10,000 super chat. And then Tracy says, my wife prefers me bald. We're going to get into that. We're going to get into that. I have some myths that we're going to talk about here pretty soon. Darfin is a $2,000 super chat. He says shame these cures. Shame this course. Yes, we've got to shame these horse. Shame the bald man. And then Shreddy Eddie says I own it. I look better. But I agree. If you guys haven't seen Eddie also went out a kind of year or two ago and got professional dating app pictures done with a shaved head. He looks like a bond villain. It's fucking awesome. Forehead. No, no. Five head. Yes. Five head. New killer. Count you goes, what? What's up, brother? Good to see you. Growing up Hispanic in my teenage years around guys, same age as me and shaving their heads bald because they were want to be gangsters and got hella girls. So been bald, being bald ain't bad in this is since seventh grade. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's lots of lots of brothers out there, lots of rappers, lots of actors. They all have shaved heads.
You know, if they can own it, why can't you? But the big towel guys and the black bill guys will be like, oh, well, they got money. That's why it's all about the money. No, it's not about the money. All right. All right. Let's get back into this. Where are we at? So the first few weeks. So after I started shaking my head, it was weird. It's like this, right? Like growing your hair back and putting it out online. It's going to be weird at first because one, you guys aren't used to it. You guys haven't seen me like this in four years. And I'm not used to it that much either. So like, I mean, my day to day in most people, I don't know anybody. So I don't think about it. Being online and in front of thousands of people. Like I'm, you know, I'm like, I'm thinking about it. It's in the forefront of my awareness, right? Well, the same thing was happened when I first shaved my head. I was like, oh, how are people going to react? There's times where I put videos out online where I'm like, oh, I looked really terrible there.
I look really terrible with that bald head or at the time I didn't think I looked terrible. But then I look back on it. I look really terrible there. There's, there's lots of that stuff. I'm just like, we're all our biggest critics. We're all our own biggest critics. And nurse chick has to remind me about that all the time. Because I will, I'll be, I'll finish an episode and I'll tell, I'll ask her. I'll say, what do you think about that episode? Do you think I got that point across that I was trying to make? It's, she's like, yeah, it was a great episode or I'll get a bunch of feedback for people going, man, this is one of the best episodes I've ever seen. And I'm like, really? I thought it was a terrible fucking episode, right? So like we all tend to be our own biggest critics. And I was like that when it first came up with the shaved head. It took a lot of friends and family a while to get used to. But you know what? Like anything else in life, everyone gets used to it eventually. Everyone gets used to it. You get used to it. So if you are worried about it, it's going to be weird at first. It's going to just because you're not used to it. Okay, but just, just let it run for a while. Okay, let it run for a while. You'll get used to it. Other people get used to it.
You'll start feeling natural to you. Okay. People's reactions to it at first were usually shocked, but not it wasn't negative. Most people's reactions weren't negative. Only like assholes that don't like me anyway. Like those are the only people that would be negative about it. But people that like the content, people that know me, my friends, my family, nurse chick, other women like that, I would see around. Like there was no difference, right? No difference. But the like, so it's just one of those things where you got to let it go. You're going to be your own worst, worst critic about it. Okay. And what you'll find is people's reactions really say more about them than it does about you. Okay. People's reactions say more about them. People project their own insecurities and a bald guy with confidence, it really exposes that fast.
If that's your go to insult, we, I know, like I now know what your, your biggest insecurity is. It's going to be your, you losing your hair someday. Like you would be very insecure about that. You'd be rushing off to Turkey. You'd be investing into pays. Anything to try to cover it up. That's, you know, when if you're quick to insult someone because of their bald head, that tells me everything I need to know about you. Have you ever heard the expression hurt people hurt people? That's kind of why I think that's why a lot of us in the red pill space usually get that reaction for people like who hurts you, who hurts you, bro. Right. And but honestly, that a lot of that is projection. A lot of that is people projecting their own insecurities, especially meant if a man is insulting another man about his bald head, that dude is definitely worried about losing his hair. All right. A woman like women don't typically lose their hair like men do. There's no female pattern baldness. There are women that where their hair does thin, especially as they get older and they start having hormonal issues and something that their hair might thin a little bit.
But when a woman's attacking a man for his bald head, she's just, she's just looking for an attack vector. That's it. She, I don't think like a lot of there are women that don't like bald guys, you know, but there's women that don't like fat guys. If you ever read a Rollos article on have a look, right? One of the things that that article really points out is that certain women have a type and they're looking for a guy to feel to fill a character role. And some women like bald guys, they would route they like rubbing bald heads and stuff like that. Nersik always said, I like the way your bald head looks in between my legs. You know what I mean? So it's like, you've got to, you've got to learn to dismiss the haters and realize that they wouldn't even be saying that if they weren't insecure about it themselves. All right. By the way, if you guys get value out of any of these episodes, do consider sending a super chat because spotifying in YouTube don't pay for shit.
Talk about frame and what, what frame actually is. Okay. When this was all a very big exercise in frame. If you guys don't realize it, being willing to put yourself out there and accept insults on a daily basis, have people call you bald literally all the time. One of the worst times I experienced that was I put out a trolling post I think two years ago now with Scarlett Johansson. And I said, it was a picture of Scarlett Johansson on the beach. And I circled like she had some cellulite on her lower left thigh. And she had some, what was it? It was like, you know, a little bit of a pooch belly. I just circled those and I posted it on on X and I said, Scarlett Johansson, so mid bro hashtag changed my mind. And it went viral. It had eight million views and the haters were in the comments.
And the number one thing I got in there was your bald bald guy, your bald, your bald and bald and stuff like that. So purposefully shaving my head and putting myself out there online and having a red pill podcast, which people already don't like. That is an exercise in frame because what I what I found was you have to learn to laugh. You have to learn to laugh at that stuff. You have to laugh at the comments and turn it into a drinking game. And that's what I did because like whenever someone says you hurt you and when anyone says your bald. If you comment that I usually will will screenshot that and say everybody drink everybody drink, you know, because it's unoriginal as fuck for one. Right, but two, I can't let it bother me. And a part of mental frame is not letting other people's opinions or ideas impact you. You let other people impact you by what they're saying, especially their negative stuff. You're operating in their frame.
You're entering their frame. If someone were to call me bald and then I want to lash out at them and fire back and get into a stupid argument about that. Now I'm operating in their frame. I'm letting them control me. I'm letting them get me into my fields. Right. So if you can get to a place where people can talk all sorts of mad shit. And they'll always find shit to talk about. Then if you can find a way to not let that bother you, that's a good exercise in frame. Yeah, you feel me dog. And what's funny about that is the more you don't let that kind of stuff rattle you, the more confidence it builds in you, the more that you start looking in the mirror going, I like this look. I like how this looks on me. Right. The more confident you are with it, it actually changes how other people see you. Right. Now if I were to walk around trying to constantly minimize my baldness by putting it to pay on or, you know, whatever I do wear hats a lot.
But that's mainly because I just like wear hats. I'll probably still wear hats, you know, on occasion. But that sort of thing is it. Like if you can, you know, sort of laugh off that stuff, it changes the way people see you because they're like, oh, this guy's not rattled by the stuff. You know what I mean? And so that confidence in itself makes you more attractive and it changes the way people look at you. Um, by the way, uh, side topic here. I know my man, the comments doesn't like stream elements, uh, plugging stuff, but, uh, we do have a business run and one of the things that we offer here is an exclusive group for members of the pod or people that like to watch the podcast, they want to connect with other viewers of the podcast. So you guys that are leveling up in life in all areas, money, muscle, game, and frame, uh, it's called the wolf pack. If you go to wolf.com, my man pod.com, you can join. We had our pack hanging out last night. And so you guys that aren't in the pack. You guys missed it. But it was actually a pretty good one. That one lasted almost three hours. It was really good.
And we got a lot of stuff. A lot of guys asking questions in there. A lot of guys working through things. A lot of guys just shoot the shit and having a good time. And it's always a good time in the wolf pack. And I have to ask you when would now be a good time to run with the wolves, brother. Fear club. Not anymore. You need men with fire in their eyes. We rebuilt from the ground up. No excuses. No soft stuff. Telegram lit. 24 seven. Brothers locked in. Still not ever step inside the pack. We don't fall. We attack. Truth by your presence. We bring it back. Masculine pride. No time to slack.
Step inside the pack. Drop your past. Claim your track. No therapy. Talk. No place. We sharpen blades. We take it all. To suit me for that one, guys. Um, let's see here. Darfin. This is two Pock and Michael Jordan had everyone wanting to be bald in the 90s. Yeah. Yeah. Those guys look good bald, man. Dale says my battle scars, indented skull would show if I went bald, disgusting to women or would they see as tough guy characters, chicks love scars. Man, what do you talk about? We have, um, brother Phil in wolf pack had, uh, he actually had brain surgery or some shit. It's like crazy scar up and over his head and he was wondering about shaving his head and whether that would be a problem or whether chicks would, uh, like the scar and stuff like that. And I'm like, man, the cool thing about scars for men is it, it tells a story. Right. It tells that you, you went through some shit and you lived through it and like women tend to like scars a lot, you know.
So I don't know, but you know, you have, you have good hair like what you don't need to do it. You don't need to shave. CW says, my guys at work, flip me shit about the bald head and I just own it. Yeah. And everyone does. Everyone does. People like to give shit about the bald head. And largely, I think it's there are other people's insecurity, because you'll find that there's lots of people out there that are completely indifferent to a bald head. They don't even think about it. Most people don't. Most people aren't out there. Talk at smack about your bald head. It's the people that are really insecure about it. That even notices. You know what I mean? And then brother Mike steel says, at least if we go bald, we have a backup, shave head, grow beard. Yes. See, that's where you, that's where you minimize your weakness and maximize your strengths, right. You need to draw attention away from the bald head. And that's where like if you, if you, you know, where contacts, you might actually switch to glasses and get a stylish pair of glasses, because it draws attention to,
to your eyes more, and they get to go T, right. You want to draw that attention down. That's, you know, another way of doing that. But either way, either way, it's like it really makes very little difference. You know, you're probably going to think about it more than anyone else. And then other insecure people are going to think about it more than anything else. Everyone else is just going to be like, oh, just normal dude. You know what I mean? Um, my favorite double standard. This is, uh, AJ, Texas Viking detailer. Um, my favorite double standard is, it's alopecia. It's a disease. And it's tragic for women. Jada Smith. But if it's a guy, it's balding. It doesn't matter. Right. You know, you're not going to get sympathy either way. So, might as well own that shit. All right, let's talk about these myths. I mentioned myths at the beginning. So let's talk about the myth that women aren't attracted to bald men. Um, and like I said before, if you guys ever read the book, atomic attraction, if you haven't read it yet, it's one of my holy Trinity of dating books is by a guy named Christopher Canwell phenomenal book.
He talks about studies and how there's lots of women out there that actually do like bald men. Right. And there's a lot of women. What you'll find women say to it's, they want to be good chimp. Right. They want to be, uh, not be judged by the collective. They want to get in good and be perceived good with the collective. So if the collective is saying we don't like bald men. We don't like bald men. They'll be like, yeah, yeah, who likes bald men. Right. Cause they want to fit in. But they still would like them. So when you get them in, you know, to be honest, and they're, you know, they, they're, um, what is it? Anonymous, you know, they don't have other women around to judge their thoughts. They'll be open and honest. Women say that they like guys with, with a bald head. And just to sort of highlight that. Have you guys ever seen the movie Deadpool? Um, in that movie, in, in the movie Deadpool, Deadpool's wife is played by Marina backer and just a fully hot chick, right.

Did you like men to have shaved undergarments if you know what I'm saying? Yeah, but I said you said no. It made me think yes. So when I say no, it means yeah, no, no, no means no definitely, but I mean I thought you were just going to play mind games with me their mind games. No, no, no, no, no, my game. So you like men to be hairy. Oh, now you. Craig Ferguson. If you guys go back and watch Craig Ferguson clips like the guy is a master at bantering with women whenever I'm talking about you got a banter with women. Watch Craig Ferguson. That guy's a fucking genius at it. But you know what's funny is some arena. She actually was was married to a guy named Austin chick, which let me see if I can pull that up here. This guy. She was married to this guy. They did end up getting divorced. Come on, come on street. She was married to this guy for a long time, but they ended up getting divorced. But I don't think it was because of his baldness. And if you guys know who Rivalino is on X, he's the he's the guy who sort of pioneered the concept of green line theory.
For you guys out there, like, I mean, I don't have anything a cool tool to draw the green lines, but can you see the green lines? Can you see the green lines in this picture? I don't think it was a bald situation that caused surge of divorce. I think it was a frame issue. Right. If look at how he's leaning into her in this picture. Right. I think it was a frame issue. I don't think it was a bald issue. But look at when we talk about frame, take a look at this image here. Let me replace this one with this image here of another famous bald guy in his hot, fully hot girlfriend. Right. This is Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington whitely and look at the frame here. Okay. Like draw the green lines here. He's straight up and down. She's leaning into him totally loves him. If you see any pictures of them together, he is a master of frame and she is totally in love with him. And the thing is as they engaged back in 2016, they still haven't gotten legally married.
So they've been together for 15 years now, not legally married. They're madly in love still. She's totally operating in her frame and he just fucking owns his bald head. He doesn't fully shave it either. He lets the little stubble grow around the side, but he just fucking owns that shit. Right. Whitely considered a very attractive man. Okay. So the myth that women aren't attracted to bold bald man is just completely fucking bullshit. Okay. There's also a myth that you lose respect or authority without hair. And what I found. It was funny because one of the one of the brothers and one of my original 3% brothers, he's actually in the wolf pack right now. He shaved his head several years ago. He decided that he was going to just own it, shave his head. I think he actually shaved his head before I ended up shaving my head. And one of the things that he's that stood out to him after shaving his head was when he would go to the gym, he would get these sort of nods from other men almost like and they would get out of his way, almost out of respect.
It's like he had this dignified look as an older gentleman with a shaved head and and after he told me that and then I shaved my head. I would I would I noticed that now I don't know if that's one of those particular activating things where someone says it and so you notice it more. But I would absolutely notice that when I walk around with a shaved head, you get nods of respect from other men, you don't get people just out in public calling you fucking bald all the time. Okay, like you only get that shit online because people don't like what you have to say and that's like an easy attack vector and they just want to start shit online. Right in public, you don't get that at all. You don't get that at all you get you actually when I was when I was a director of IT, I thought the baldness gave me a look of seniority and people respected like my viewpoints and they thought I knew more than I did and stuff like that. So you almost get a persona of more respect as a guy that's more dignified and you know it's almost like when you have gray hair right you have a little bit of gray hair.
People actually think that you you know you know more than you do when you have gray hair because this is you know this signifies life experience and share right I'm only 25 years old but I got all this gray in my beard. Which is weird because I don't have as much gray hairs I do have some gray hairs but it's not as prominent as my beard, which is really which was really surprising to me because I thought when I was going to grow this out that I was going to have almost like a grayish white look like what I let my beard grow out it gets really. You know people could say skunk beard that's another thing they attack me with right oh you you look like you look like Jack Murphy with your long beard and she's like that's like a fuck sex like there's always going to be something there's always going to be something everyone's going to be mad anyway it's kind of funny. So let's talk about your self-limiting beliefs around your hair and where that actually comes from a lot of guys self-limiting beliefs come from the media bullshit statistics that you read online in locker room talk. Insults that you hear other people say and all those things get absorbed into your paradigm right which is what you know psychology paradigm talks about how you a lot of your self-limiting beliefs are really just programs in your head that you grew up with and if you've been watching
roguing commercials your entire life that's going to program you to believe that being bald is a bad thing and you should worry about it all the stuff and buy our products right by our product it's instead of just hey just fucking own it right that's not that that type of that type of message doesn't really make a lot of people money unless your skull shaper brand right skull shaper brands like just fucking own it. You know what I mean but a lot of people just are super insecure about this stuff because of those self-limiting beliefs I think next week for frame Friday I'm going to do an episode on self-limiting beliefs and being in your being in your primal state anything that puts you in a primal state we'll talk about doctor David Hawkins was it like it's called the map of map of emotion I think in this map of emotion or map of energy or something that we'll talk about that we'll talk about self-limiting beliefs and how anything that puts you in a primal state which is makes you angry makes you feel self-conscious makes you feel doubt anything like that that sort of gets your your anxiety up a little bit all that kind of stuff is self-limiting belief is not it's fundamentally not true and we'll walk through that but this sort of thing if being bald and people calling you bald and all this kind of stuff
gets you up in your fields and gets you feeling anxious or insecure or less than feeling less than that's a self-limiting belief that you can you won't ever be able to work through unless you bring it to the forefront right and so we'll talk about that next week I think out Friday is when things get you in a primal state an exercise that you can do to get yourself out of it and start believing something that's a little more empowering right because what everybody empowering right because any anything that keeps you feeling weak or less than or that you're not good enough or that you can't do something that's all self limiting and it's only you that are holding yourself back okay but all that stuff is programmed as you're growing up through various messaging people calling in you know throwing their own insecurities out there that all gets wired into your paradigm and it's all self limiting it's all self limiting like all these people can have their opinions of you but if you strengthen that mental frame it's just going
to bounce off you like you know Superman and bullets and shit right and that's a good marker of mental frame when you don't let all that kind of shit bother you all right guys follow me on social media would you the links are in the description I'm on all the good platforms except for threads I'm banned from threads now which was a shitty platform anyway it's just a shitty rip off of X when I got banned from X I was like oh shit I got a I got to start all over like this sucks it's not the end of the world I get start over but you know because I've started over on like telegram or not telegram on TikTok I've you know I've had three TikTok accounts I have four I've had four accounts total now of TikTok I've had two accounts of X I've been banned from X in the past with with old accounts I used to have a conservative account that got banned once and I got that one back by filing a complaint with the better business bureau but if I might do that with my old by other X account but either way getting banned from threads I'm
actually like I fuck it I don't care I don't care this is a shitty platform anyway I started a blue sky account I was like oh let me see what blue skies all about blue sky is a it's a it's a liberal circle jerk there's nothing decent to even comment on on that platform I'm like this is a monumental waste of time okay where are we at so November felt like the right time to check in so yeah so I decided to start growing my hair back out in November mainly out of curiosity for myself I just I really wanted to see how how much hair have I lost you know what I mean because I've been shaving my head for four years I wanted to grow it out and just see like how bad is it how bad is it really you know because I I wasn't bald when I started shaving my head it was about it was about where it is right now so it hasn't changed much in the last four years it hasn't changed this is where it was when I decided oh I'm balding and people are gonna you know talk about my five head and shit like that right but that's that's where I was four years ago and it hasn't changed
hasn't changed at all so I was like I wonder where it's at wonder I think what I'm gonna do is grow it out long because usually when I keep it short and I've kept it short since the military basically it it it almost like highlights how how big my forehead is more when I have shorter hair I don't know maybe I'm wrong maybe this makes it more pronounced I don't know but I'm gonna grow I'm just gonna keep growing it for a while and see where it's at I think uh you know nurse chick and I watched invasion USA the other day with Chuck Norris and his hair was like down to hear I'm like yeah I think that's it I think I'm gonna let my hair grow out of there and then re-evaluate and maybe I'll shave my head after that I don't know but never ever just it was more out of curiosity I decided to start doing this um but which is interesting when it actually grew back that um at first I at first I was like oh this is a bad idea this is a bad idea because as it's growing out like you know like when like I have uh sort of when my hair's thinner or not thinner when my hair is a
shorter it's lighter and if the light hits it right my hair looks a lot lighter and so uh like I was I was like oh yeah actually I think it's a lot worse than it is but I just kept it growing nurse chick was like just wear a hat babe don't look at it just wear a hat just wear a hat and so I was like okay so I just kept wearing a hat kept wearing a hat and I found that it's like it actually hasn't really changed much in four years and it's um pleasantly surprised by it obviously I'm like oh actually it's not so bad um but the the biggest thing is that the four years of this experiment really taught me that uh everyone's hate online you know all that stuff it has nothing to do with my hair it has nothing to do with the baldness no one really cares and the average person doesn't even give a shit if you're bald or not so shaving it and just owning it is the best thing possible and people people's true colors really come out when they don't like you right so how I'm saying how like yeah now they're just gonna find another reason to attack me they're gonna say other
other shit they're gonna talk shit in other ways and it really has nothing to do with being bald you know what I mean it has everything to do with they don't like my message or whatever and it's all it says more about them so that's really the big experiment here is what it taught me is that what people insult you online it says more about them than it does about you okay and so if you're a guy uh who's your hair thinning and and your your you have some insecurities about that's perfectly normal a lot of guys do um I would say I would I would invite you to realize that your your own worst critic okay for one and two uh just owning it I think actually does like just shaving it looks better than a patchy bald head does it looks better than uh receding hairline does at the end of the day and you have full control over that okay and no matter what you're probably gonna feel insecure either way so you might as well go with something that's been
proven to be more attractive on guys that are going bald is to just own it and shave it all together all right and either way um let other people's insecurities bounce off you like but bullets bounce off Superman okay like a water off of a duck's back it doesn't matter other people's opinions don't fucking matter your opinion of yourself is the only thing that fucking matters that's what I would um invite you guys to look at especially if you're in this position all right all right guys that's all I got for this episode um let's see here there is one rule if you're bald you can't be fat you can't be fat yes oh and these guys are talking about those pictures let me bring those up here real quick just so that you guys can um see those again so this is marina and her at now ex-husband and you know she said in that video with Craig first and I like bald men and she married this guy and he was already bald so you know that
blew the the idea that you know women don't like bald men out the window but yeah he's leaning in right that's what Ty is saying here with this image he's leaning in bike steel says it to you this guy's leaning in so if this tells you anything big bald is not the factor here it's frame frame is everything okay let's go and look at again let's look at Jason state them this episode is brought to you by athletic brewing company no matter how you do game day on the couch in the crowd or manning the snack table athletic brewing fits right in with a full lineup of non-alcoholic beer styles you can enjoy bold flavors all game long no hangovers no buzz no subbing out for water in the second half stuck the fridge for tip off with a variety of non-alcoholic craft styles available at your local grocery store or online at athletic brewing dot com near beer fit for all times president Barack Obama Virginia we are counting on you Republicans want to steal enough seats in Congress to
raid the next election and wield unchecked power for two more years but you can stop them by voting yes by April 21st help put our elections back on a level playing field and let voters decide not politicians vote yes by April 21st paid for by Virginians for fair elections here he's bald too and he has a hot girl for two but he's letting his girl enter his frame right frame is everything so you guys going home with this I want you guys to take that away right frame is everything and how you look at yourself is the only thing that matters anyone else's opinion they can fuck off okay turn it into a drinking game don't let it bother you all right to let other people see that it bothers you okay because the more people see that something bothers you the more they'll go after it the more that you show them that whatever they're saying it doesn't
rattle you the the more that they'll go and find an easier target okay it's it's the same rule of bullying right now one might say that of the best way to stop a bully is punching him in the nose that's another option but are but you're but they were able to get you up into your feelings enough to punch them in the nose okay so I wouldn't I wouldn't have that be my go to I would punch him in the nose if they were trying to start a fight with me oh that's the that is absolutely the best way to stop a bully but if they're just talking shit about you the best way to stop a bully is to not enter their frame at all and just laugh it off right agree and amplify all that kind of stuff is tools in your toolbox to to maintain frame at the end of the day right no one argues the authority of Captain Picard absolutely right everyone respects Captain Picard brother Daniel says a lot of judges are bald with beards don't see anyone questioning their authority true who is this on Paul's channel where's the bald guy yet Paul stick today the new guy is pretty good
though new guys yeah he's all right he's all right new guys got a big forehead though all right that's all we got for this episode I hope you guys found it helpful and useful I I am going to be rocking the hairdo for for you know the foreseeable future and till I get tired of it and want to change something else because I get bored easily but but yeah here we go not totally bald don't definitely don't have the bald spot back here I'm I'm grateful for that man talk about gratitude practice when it grows back and it's not as bad as you thought it would be it's you know that's good it's not as bad as I thought it would be all right guys turn to the podcast on Monday we're going to be reading through rollo Tomassi's latest ex article that I've been talking about all week it's about when when to file for divorce if you're in a sexless marriage and it prompted me to write a similar article that we went over on Tuesday and so I'll point out where rollo and I are actually aligned and I think rollo and I are more aligned than we're not and but we'll also talk
about where we might differ a bit so if you're contemplating divorce if you're in a sexless marriage and you're thinking about pulling that trigger I don't pull that trigger until you've watched Monday's episode we'll talk through rollo's rollo's article I think it will be a good conversation but that's all we got for this episode guys do be sure to like subscribe hit those notifications hit those notifications and we'll have you guys back on the podcast on Monday have a good weekend hold on where the hell is it there here it is there we go this has been the come on man podcast now go out and get it
