Which is my debut release First release I put it out a couple years back But yeah A lot of what I write comes from You know personal places at least starts from Personal places but this one was a little bit different I was actually given Given this track by Actually the engineer that I am Recorded with his name is Robbie Rowland Echoes studio And Basically played it for me and this was the story that came to mind You know I just envisioned Well not picking up but you know being on the street And getting splashed by somebody in the car and being really really

6:31Pist off I mean that part I think happened But then there was a pleasant surprise when you know She stopped and that's why I took the story from there she stopped and you know Offered a drive my pants and we had something We had something But you know So yeah now that was totally you know inspired off the head I only got splashed in real life that that was the truth of the of the song Everything else is my imagination To get fantasy that I have especially for something so relatable in the sense Getting in a mind where it's like couldn't be Just ruined your day almost to kind of have it come back You know how you have a when you you know you're a student And you know you teacher actually is a fine teacher and you know So when I'm called to the board moments of what have you or you fantasize about your teacher That type of that sort of fantasy in the building yeah indeed

7:35Yeah what about the feature on that as well I mean the the the the The core it's one thing the core it's my man Evan Slasher Yeah he he blessed that I said Robbie produced track Actually him and Robbie produced track and then he um he sang And I wrote everything Yeah yeah it's this cool Tell me a little about this album as well Grow man be I grow man be I um this actually is my it's a debut Yeah I've been I mean you'll probably get into these the question and then but I've been Participating in this music thing for a long time now A few decades as you As you mentioned earlier great stuff with it Yeah um and I've had mixed tapes I've had singles I've done collaborations with you know Better known artists or well unknown artists

8:35Um and throughout I've never had I probably To have recorded maybe four or five entire projects but it never ever came to a full completion And then you know fruition as far as coming out in distribution Um and this is the first one this was totally independent you know I kind of like was like listen You know we're getting up there and I need I need I need something I need something that I could you know say hey this is that So this is the first one it's not the last but um it is the first one I'm actually I was I was very proud You know completing this thing and I put it together 100% I double I then going back to that like yeah what got you into this what like where did it start where did you grow from it you know how all Over all those times not having you know committed I mean not fully gotten a product out there you know what were you working on what were you doing What people you were with um and glued into what it is oh man it's wow it's too many the name

9:37Um but I've worked with a lot of people uh from you know Actually locals from like Rex to term terminology um Mr. Lyff acrobatic um better known names Keras um yeah it uh there's a list So like I said I've done a lot of collaborations a lot of you know I've been featured on a few projects A lot of projects actually um and I put out a few mixed tapes and stuff so that as far As my music circulate and I've been on the you know they they I've been lucky enough to have been played on local radio stations major radio stations you know I mean For a little bit of notoriety you know I got it was cool it's cool when did when this all start you Oh I picked up the pen probably at 12 years old man all right um I would say around 80 to 85 yeah

10:39Well yeah 83-85 yeah because when it started you know I turned into from a from a little hobby or habit to something I really you know I woke up and I said I'm gonna I'm gonna pen some stuff or I'm gonna record some stuff you know I mean like deliberately I was doing that recording deliberately ever since high school yeah I mean since high school I graduated in 89 so yeah there you go And ever since then you know you've been making music you've been writing music what's kind of been the trajectory for you coming from then Going to now like you know you've worked all these people but like what's how did you build up to that how did you get into that start recording stuff Um that was very early early on um my group back in the day my first group was called the dilemma crew Okay yeah um consisted of myself my man Stefan G we had a we had my cousin M.O.B master of bases on the beat box we had brother named D.R.A.P

11:47He was another MC we had a brother named JC George Carante um and we got together we actually you know thankful to to George's parents Because every time George brought home a egg his parents would get him a new piece of equipment you know we so I would kind of step our game up Um and we were recording um legitimately from from from early eight that was I want to say like 13 14 years old you know what I mean so um Yeah we did the best that we could with what we had and um it just you know kind of got better you know after more practice and practice and things just get better and better and better and then we uh we landed well I say landed but we got on the radio for the first time um local station with a with a host named Magnus you know rest in peace um but yeah that was that was the intro and I was you know kind of like at the I'm not the height but the beginning or the the the surgeons not re but surgeons of Boston hip hop um

12:53Boston goes deaf I remember the album out there with uh people like edo G who was in a group called FTI back then fresh to impressed I'm pretty sure you heard a RSO um Roxbury Cole crush um that was uh semsea divine I figured the other guy's name but um the man Sean Pete he also beat box um but yeah that old early Boston scene the white boy crew uh yeah yeah yeah disco peeing the freshness it yeah this is a old old old old school for I'd I'd give anything to hear more you know hear music from them right now
