Murray to Vikings: Top QB Target in Free Agency

The Arizona Cardinals just released quarterback Kyler Murray, and he's drawing strong interest right away. Reports say the Minnesota Vikings are out in front to land him next season. Murray seems to like the idea of joining Minnesota, where the team has plenty of skilled receivers and playmakers. Coach Kevin O'Connell proved his touch last year by turning around Sam Darnold, who then cashed in big during free agency. Fans and analysts see Murray as a big step up from the Vikings' current young quarterback, JJ McCarthy, who struggled so far. There's taught them Minnesota might even trade McCarthy away to clear the path. That said, Murray would still need to win the starting job through competition and training camp.
