Lt: Druskininkų miške stovėjo jauki trobelė.
En: In the forest of Druskininkai, there stood a cozy little cabin.

Lt: Langeliai žėrėjo saulės spinduliuose, o švendrės prie jos siūbavo nuo vėjo.
En: The windows gleamed in the sunlight, and the reeds nearby swayed in the wind.

Lt: Žiema, bet sniego nėra.
En: It was winter, but there was no snow.

Lt: Vietoje sniego — purvas.
En: Instead of snow — mud.

Lt: Šalia trobelės, Gaubas, Lina ir Paulius ruošėsi žiemos sporto turnyrui.
