Welcome to entertainment and celebrity news today. Two minutes of pop culture that matter. MS now has rolled out its first vape programming shake-up since the rebrand and spin-off from its old pairing company. The biggest change hits Morning Joe, hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzynski. Starting in June, the show drops back to three hours from four. Meanwhile, Stephanie Rule is shifting from her evening slot to anchor a new two-hour block from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Night time show, the 11th hour, full weekend host Ali Velshi to take over. Anchor Anna Cabrera is also leaving the network after hosting the 10 a.m. news slot. In an emotional video on X, she talked about chasing better chances to inform viewers, hold power accountable, and follow the facts no matter where. They lead. These moves come as the network struggles with some of its lowest ratings in 25 years, losing ground to rivals like Fox News.

Executives blame it partly on the rebrand flop, with revenue down 5.3 percent last year. President Rebecca Cutler says the tweaks will strengthen the lineup ahead of the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential race. She expects to add more staff by the end of 2026, giving employees new roles to mash the political push. The Daily News Now is grateful to our sponsor for today's episode. It looks like a pillow. It sounds like headphones built for comfort and sound. S-O-L-I-SOLYPILLO.COM
