Motorcycle Crash in Alabama Kills Woman

Smith was riding as a passenger on the bike when it veered off the road in struck a guardrail. Both Smith and the driver were ejected from the motorcycle in the single vehicle accident. They suffered serious injuries and were quickly airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for emergency care. The crash highlights the dangers of high-speed bikes on rural roads. Smith, a local resident, fought for her life but could not overcome her wounds. On Thursday, March 12th, hospital staff pronounced her dead after days of treatment.
