Mother & Son Convicted for Foster Kids' Abuse

0:00On April 17th, a mother and her son just got sentenced in Edinburgh's High Court for abusing foster kids over a 15-year stretch from 1980 to 1995. 79-year-old Jennifer Robertson physically attacked young girls, forced fed them, and hurled insults while her 52-year-old son, Stephen, carried out sexual assaults and rapes on several of them, sometimes with his late dad. Jennifer also stood by without stopping her son's attacks on at least one girl between 1988 and 1995. Stephen kept defending later, too, sexually assaulting another girl from 2015 to 2017. They were convicted back on March 20th on nine charges total. Victims showed up in court and broke down crying as the pair faced judgment. One yelled out calling them scum after the sentence is dropped, and the judge noted the devastating lifelong trauma these kids endured.
