00Morning, Sam. Good morning, A. Morning, good to people, good to hear it. Morning, Hymnish. Morning, good. Morning, March. March the first day. Thank you. February, that's like winter, the winter spring. Spring, spring, spring. So, hope everyone's well and we have a little reading about March 1st from opening doors within. I was shown a windmill, a strong wind was blowing and all the cells were turning at great speed, then the wind dropped and the cells stopped turning, for they were completely dependent upon the wind for their movement. And I heard the words, put not your security in things of this life, but put your security in me, the source of all power and the strength deep within me. So, March the first, expect a miracle, expect a miracle upon miracle to come about

05and do not limit in any way. The more open you are, the better for them. There is nothing in the way to stop the flow of my laws. For miracles are simply my laws in action. Flow with those laws and anything can happen. See the perfection of my plan and hold. There is no sense of hurry or rush when something unfolds. It can unfold at great speed, but it does so with a great sense of peace and serenity, perfect timing and precision. Be afraid of nothing, for there is nothing to fear when your faith and trust are in me. I am within you, so see the perfection of my plan come about within you and without. It all starts from within and works its way without. Therefore, let nothing in you hinder its progress. Let it all come and behold the new heaven and the new earth.

12I am holding. Laws in action. There is no faith, trust, perfection, serenity, peace, solving the new. You just have to be sometimes, don't you? Stop all the fighting, stop all the, you know, how can I seem? Go back to base six, you know. Follow the principles, live by spiritual laws, you know, accept karma, you know, good things happen. You do good deeds and power flows in. Do, you know, that letting go, you know, what, what can we change? What, what, what have you got the courage to change, you know, and do you need to change it? Can, can you not change, if you can't change something, then you just have to quit

19worrying about it. It's not in your control, you can't do anything about it. But if something needs changing, then have you got the courage to do it? You know, and you know, the wisdom to know the difference, you know, that's where the intuitive thought comes in, you know, don't rush in, pause when agitated, ask for the right thought to come. And, you know, it's also what's used in your mind, you know, being, you know, using the reason, you know, pause when agitated so that you can sit in the matter. Yes, so that you're not, you're not from that limbic state of mind, you know, that you've got no entirety. Insurations important, but you've got to use your head, you know, that if you, if

23you were just going and impulse all the time, then it would be a bit chaotic. The phrase that came to mind when I read in when you were speaking was one of the most annoying slogans, doesn't really matter. You know, does it really matter? Matters to me, you know, but yesterday, in the context of me, it matters. In the context of the universe, not so much, you know, and the context is important. We had a great share and, you know, when this person changed his sponsor and the response has said to him a lot was, what are your motives behind this?

29You know, examine your motives for doing this. And that, oh, that stops you to be a Trax, doesn't it? And you think, oh, you know, we went to see a sponsor yesterday and should be contacted by another person that wanted to just rush in and do this and do that. And I said, what do you think your motives are? And we examine them. And you think, it all comes back to ego. When motives are a drive from a movement, you know, from feelings. And you know, another word that might apply is incentive. And we'll look at the incentives, what's in play? What are you trying to get out of this? What are you trying to gain?

30You know, so the simple things can, you know, they can be simple or they can be complicated. You know, that's the trick isn't it, you know, but I think from in terms of you know, living by spiritual principles, you know, these are rules that they does to simplify and to, you know, to keep us on the path. You know, guard your own same posts. And it doesn't make life easier, you know, I'm going to be honest. You know, I'm going to be kind. I'm going to have patience and tolerance. I'm going to try

31to have compassion. You know, these are, these are things that we aspire to, you know, and we do eventually to make a, you know, to appraise, to evaluate our progress. No one knows since. I've had a week of not people pleasing of having the courage to be disliked. And it's really hard. And my god, my brain was like, hold, just go back, just go back to people pleasing. Just, just, just go back to people enabling you find them. But I stuck with it and one of the people involved has agreed with me and said, you're right. After three, three days has suddenly decided, you know, a line has to be drawn, you know, and they're supposed to become

42unless it's like those, you know, if, if being dishonest saves somebody from being harmed, you know, then maybe you should do that, you know, it's kind of like, use, use, just read our some life, isn't it? Use the initiative around it. But it's kind of like, you know, sometimes you need to accept short-term pain for a long-term gain. The other thing that I heard in the show that I hadn't heard was, you know, what we took about is in my essay. And also this share that it is for my American friend. Don't pick up the first thought. And that really, oh yes, because our ego mind, our first thought is, yeah,

42so he's read a couple of years before he dropped out, when he was, see, see, it's great, isn't it? I love that. Don't pick up the first thought. Yeah. Because that's the ego mind. Yeah, yeah. Coming up from a place of conditioning. Yeah, that's, that's genius, isn't it? I love these little tips. I mean, it's a complex matter of being a human. It's difficult. It's not easy. And it's like, your mind is not your friend. But then at the same time pause and think, you, you know, you remind, think, you know, and it's like, if you die, if you die, it's your mind to think that what I do here, you know, I want to do, I've set about me to, you know, all my ground. And you think it through, and you take action. And then your

45mind comes out, you know, I think I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's like, and it's like, no, you know, so there's this internal kind of debate. It's not eternal debate. You never end a question yourself. So, part of the condition, so I wasn't taking a moment, it's just like, we're just going to, we are, I think having awareness, going to meetings, listening to other people's thoughts and experiences, and reading, and a little bit of quiet time you'll get, you know, where we are making progress. But, you know, it's hard. It's not perfect. But it's a lot better than harming people through joking and bigger oblivious to

49any spiritual laws. So, when do you think about that, we have made a lot of progress, yeah. So, we're up to chapter four on the big book. And there's a one last wee bit upstairs, one last in November. So, the chapter is, and we've lost it. So, we just finished, um, yesterday, now public at certain times, there's no effective mental defence against the first drink except in a few of their cases, neither he nor any other human being can provide such a defence. His defence must come from a higher power. Over the page, chapter four, we ignore sticks. So, this chapter is obviously about agnosticism, but it begins in the preceding chapters,

50you have learned something of alcoholism. We hope we have made clear the distinction between the alcoholic and the non-alcoholic. If, when you honestly want to, you find you cannot quit entirely, or if when drinking, you have little control over the amount you take, you're probably alcoholic. If that be the case, you may be suffering from an illness which only a spiritual experience will conquer. To one who feels he is an atheist or agnostic, such an experience seems impossible, but to continue as he is means disaster, especially if he is an alcoholic of the hopeless variety. To be doomed to an alcoholic death or to live on a spiritual basis, I'm not always easy alternatives to face, to classic paragraphs, you're on the big book. So, it was less than to join Charlie about this, um, there, it's a classic,

51join Charlie, it's not as much less than to, you know, in the, in the, in the like, given it. So, basically, um, this is a very simple to qualify yourself as an alcoholic, you know, it's, if you find it difficult to quit entirely, you can, or if when drinking, you have little control over how much you think, you're probably alcoholic, you know, in which case you need a spiritual experience to come to. Not rings and rings of questions. No, I know, like, the, the latest questionnaires for two questions, you know, about to decide whether I'm not going to alcohol or anything like that. What the hell is that all about, you know, it is, in the big book, very simple. Can you give that piece of me? Or, if you, if you can't quit, you can't control. So, one, if you can't quit, so maybe you can quit for a while, you can go back to it, and then two, when you start drinking, you get drunk. That's it, you know, and, uh, you know, applies to, um, you know, drugs,

02applies to your pagan, you know, sex, chocolate, whatever, you know, if you can't quit entirely, in these, you know, you'd be stuck, when you start phenomenon and craving kicks in and you're off again, then you're probably an addict. And, and I do think, you know, that's, you know, when I take someone to start one, that's the first thing we do. And now you say it, go into that, and I'm like, well, that's, you know, so that's basically what's your answer to those two questions, you know, have you, can you quit? Have you been able to quit entirely? And that's as always, no, otherwise we wouldn't be sounding like that. And this, you know, do you, when you start drinking, do you know, control? Yes, about that. We are probably alcoholists, you know, and then it's like, right, so if, if they, if we're satisfied that we qualified

08as regards that definition, then move on to look at, you know, the nature of the illness, the nature of the, you know, the, which isn't a doctor's opinion, and the nature of the silicone, which isn't chapter two, belt story, which is, you know, for identification with another alcoholic, and then the nature of the illness again in chapter three, which have just been through, you know, and the problems are relaxing, relaxing, and I just think it's great that you're on channeling or so focused on dismissive of, you know, the need to overcomplicate it, you know, it's, it's a simple thing. I'm an alcoholic or not, you know, and then it's like, it's nothing to do with, you know, passing a grinking or, or clumsy wear, or what you're trying to concentrate,

15etc. It's like, you know, in simple terms, if you can't quit, and you can't, you always drink two months. That's enough to, to, to include yourself in this category that we describe as alcohol. Horrible work that it is, but you don't need to be on the street drinking, beaten, you know, nail polish, you know. Well, you know, you can have the house and the two cars on the driveway. And, you know, happiness to you. All sorts, doesn't discriminate. And the second part of Ghana, another classic switch on, you know, and routine, you just think, you know, a, a thing, no sticks, you know, the carry on as you are, I mean, the disaster,

24you know, it gets worse, never better. Once you're in it, once you're in the grip of it, you know, you're, it's like more and more, you need more and more because you get more hotter and you're chasing it, and it's like, and the life collapses around you and your problems become bigger and bigger, so you don't lower to skate your problems in your internet as a vicious cycle. And, and it's like, you know, you're doomed. If you're a hopeless reality, doomed an alcoholic death or to live in a spiritual basis, these are your choices, you know, always easy alternatives to face. And, and then to live in a spiritual basis, for the alcoholic and for that, the, that agnostic, for someone who's anti-religious, which is the majority of people in this country,

25the appears religious, you know, I know the therefore thing that's not for me, all these people in me, there's what for a religious, and then, you know, that's, it's condemning people to the alcoholic death, doesn't it? And they won't believe it. They won't believe it. And, you know, they're probably, you know, doubly may a and just think, ah, that's not me. And, you know, they might use willpower and be safer for quite a while. And then, because they haven't done the program, they'll suddenly have a massive resentment, a massive fear, big opportunity, and it won't kill. You know, and that's the saddest of it, because they didn't want to accept a spiritual program. Yeah, I think that, and you know, I do think the phrase moral psychology is quite a good one,

28you know, that it's a program of moral psychology, because there's a, because it isn't, it's about morals, you know, principles, values, you know, you know, in the state of being a selfish, should be, you know, it's selfless. And it's like, you know, thinking of others rather than yourself and being of service rather than being a total drain of society, you know, blocking people that are in a piece of mind and ruining your health and finances and generally being of complete and hopeless case and, you know, adopters program of moral psychology and, you know, and we just spent 10 minutes talking about the mind, you know, the ego and how we think and know our thoughts, determine what we do and we have to be constantly vigilant and we're, you know,

32we're praising our thinking and we're doing bent around our thinking and our behaviour, that's psychology. Well, religion. No, it's self-improvement. Yeah, and it's like the higher power, you know, the higher power, you know, talked about it in front of the phrase story, you know, that the spiritual principles to solve all those problems, you know, it's personal principles, these are codes, moral codes. So the combination of all these principles, that's a higher power, power within yourself, if you want it to be, you know, you can, you know, higher power can be anything. This is the kind of the framework of the two upstairs and inside, you can adjust it, you can tweak it to customize it so that it's comfortable for you. Get on with that, you know, embrace, don't have an alcoholic death.

36It's not good, it's not good, it's not, it's unacceptable, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's sad and, you know, dreadful. And, and, and you're basically supporting yourself to death over time and through view of your family and, yeah, dreadful thing, so, we're lucky we've escaped from that. Yeah, and it's just, it's quite, uh, quite a ton of reasons. So, you know, the, the, the first sentence of the next paragraph, but it isn't, but it isn't so difficult. So there's hope. Half of the original fellowship where it is out of that, too, you know, I think it's more than half known.
