I'm Mijo Soon, and I grew up hearing all the usual messages about money. But they never touched upon this reality of how emotional money decisions can feel. Money felt like it had this weight to it. It felt hard to get, hard to control, connected to so much that was wrong in the world. Our relationship to money might feel personal, but it shaped by much bigger forces, beliefs around self-worth, work, community, and who deserves to thrive. Over the years, I began questioning everything I was taught about money and learning one lesson at a time. When I learned about money trauma, suddenly those deeper truths had a name. Our emotions and
