Welcome back to your Market on Clothes, Lame San Vaters, a line at the New York Stock Exchange. Just some final thoughts on today. Obviously, we had GTC in videos. The biggest event of the year kicking off and Jensen Huang, the CEO, taking the stage just in the last couple of hours with his keynote speech. A lot of fanfare, a lot of excitement building up towards that in video, of course, a rallying to a session high ahead of that presentation. We did, of course, get that line about the $1 trillion through to 2027. And that was, of course, off the back of the purchase orders between Blackwell and Vera Rubin. And the company had previously had projections of about $500 billion worth of the revenue opportunity between the two chip technologies previously. So obviously, we saw a nice pop off the back of that. And all the next seven, in fact, are rallying today. We will continue to track lines throughout the next four days of this event because, of course, that is catching a lot of attention. But memory stocks, of course, having a very good day as well. Sandisk and Seagate were among the biggest winners on the S&P 500 today, micron helping lead the market to.
After a number of analysts raised their price targets ahead of earnings amid surging demand, supply shortages and higher prices, which is expected to continue to help the company this year. The company also saying it plans to build a second manufacturing facility in Taiwan to help it expand the supply of DRAM, including HBM. Construction is expected to start at the end of fiscal 2026. The company reports earnings on Wednesday. After the bell, we'll be watching. On the geopolitical front, as KG mentioned, the US and China wrapping up two days of productive talks in Paris, and it comes ahead of President Trump's trip to Beijing. But there are questions now as to whether that was still happening this morning. After Trump reportedly said it could be delayed amid the war in the Middle East, Treasury Secretary Scott Besson, then coming out saying that any potential delay would not be because of disputes over the conflict, but because Trump needs to stay in Washington. Heading into tomorrow, we will continue to track these lines coming out of Nvidia's events in San Jose. GTC will continue tomorrow. We'll also be getting some earnings from 10 cents,
Lululemon and Oclos, so watching all of that. Throughout the course of the session, we've got a little bit of data on tap for you coming from the housing market. Those will be the pending home sales. Let's see if we have some more encouraging numbers and then of course, as far as the central bank bananza, FOMC meeting getting underway, those Fed members getting their feed under the desk, but we'll also have the RBA decision. That's down under. They're expected to hike. We'll watch and wait and see, but that's going to do it for us. So here on Market Unclosed.
