0:00This is your official Air Force Academy history update for Monday, April 6th. On this day back in 1967, a dedication ceremony is held on the Toronto for the F-104 Starfighter. An aircraft retired from the flight test program at Edwards Air Force Base, California. The aircraft remained on the Toronto until replaced by the F-15 Eagle in 1994. So on this day back in 2000, Air Force hosts the 3-day National Collegiate Boxing Association National Championships. 12 Air Force Academy Boxers qualified for Nationals and the team won the championship for the second consecutive year.
