It is unclean, and he, meaning the priest, shall break down the house. What does it mean for a house to be leprous? This passage was actually referring to mold growth, long before humans would understand much about biological health God was protecting them with his law, and if his law had been obeyed to the same degree today, I would have a year of my life back. Unfortunately, if anything, we've taken a step backwards. Most doctors aren't looking for mold poisoning, and they don't know how to fix it.
