Missing Titanic sub search continues as air supply onboard dwindles

About this episode

A massive search operation continues to find the submersible with five people onboard that went missing on a trip to view the Titanic wreckage that sits at the bottom of the ocean nearly 13,000 feet underwater southeast of Newfoundland, Canada. The U.S. Coast Guard says they are working “around the clock” to try and find the missing sub. Per Wimmer is a self-described adventurer who has been involved with two missions attempting to reach the Titanic. He tells Anderson Cooper what he thinks may have happened to the submersible and says “time is the enemy” for those onboard. Plus, Hunter Biden is expected to plead guilty to federal tax changes and struck a deal with federal prosecutors to resolve a felony gun charge. Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Elie Honig joins AC360 to discuss whether or not the President’s son got a “sweetheart deal.” To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
