Spurgeon reached the mark earlier on March 14th in a game against the New York Rangers. Now in his 16th NHL season, he spent everyone with the wild and took on the captain role back in 2021. Before puck drop, the team surprised them with a Polaris Ranger XP vehicle. Owner Craig Leapold gave him a Tiffany crystal for the league, while General Manager Bill Gueren handed over a commemorative silver stick.
