The Minnesota Frost picked up a solid 4-to-1 victory over the Seattle Torrent on Friday March 13 in their third match-up of the 20, 25-26, professional women's hockey league season. The Frost jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first period and added another, before the second intermission, sealing it with an empty netter in the third. Meanwhile, the Torrent finally got on the board late in the game with a power play goal from Lexi Adziha, her fourth of the season. That tally came off a rebound after a shot from Daniel Sircatchney, and is stood up after a quick review for goalie interference. The loss hit hard for Seattle, already dealing with key injuries like Hillary Knightau and Hannah Bilka's sideline for the year. Things got worse when Makila Grant-Mentus took a rough hit into the boards in the second period and had to leave the game needing help off the ice. These kicked off the Torrent's road trip on a sour note, despite coming off a recent

home win against the Boston Fleet. Their depth will be tested as they push for more points. The Torrent bounced back quick, facing the Toronto Sceptors on Sunday, March 15, with the season series finale against Minnesota set for April, 22nd in Seattle.
