Both Brian Gerrish and Charles Malet are UK Column presenters with extensive military backgrounds. This latest, special, episode of Military Matters is an in-depth conversation giving their immediate reaction to, and analysis of, events in Iran.

In particular, the pair focus on what might happen to the UK, and her armed forces, within the wider implications of assuming a 'defensive' posture.
This interview was recorded at the beginning of March, just a few days after Israel and the United States launched joint airstrikes on Iran. Both Charles and Brian forecast that the UK would be absolutely and intentionally drawn into the war. This is exactly what came to pass a few days later.
