Military Leaders Push Christian Extremism, Troops Silenced

A watchdog group called the Military Religious Freedom Foundation says it got more than 200 complaints from US troops. Service members from all branches, like the Marines, Air Force and Space Force, reported their superiors using extreme Christian language. Commanders allegedly called the war on Iran, part of God's divine plan. One key complaint came from a non-commissioned officer in a unit ready to deploy anytime. The officer said their leader pushed troops to see the conflict as tied to Bible passages from Revelation about Armageddon and Jesus Christ's return. They even linked it to President Trump starting the fight. This complaint represented 15 troops, including 11 Christians, 1 Muslim and 1 Jewish service member. Troops feel they cannot speak up easily against higher ups, unlike in civilian jobs. The foundation's leader points to a rise in Christian extremism in the ranks. He calls it a clear breach of church and state separation.
