About this episode
Known as one of the greatest 200+ mile athletes of our time, Mike McKnight is headed back to Cocodona 250 for a third time this year. Mike is a professional ultra athlete for Salomon based out of Utah, and is well known for his course record at the Triple Crown of 200s, FKT on the Colorado Trail, and his low-carb lifestyle.
Last year, Mike came in an impressive second place at Cocodona, coming back from behind and climbing up the ranks after battling adversity throughout. And this year, he is back for revenge as he looks to perform even better than before, and to take on the Bradshaw Mountains on the original course to finally get the effort he’s looking for.
In this episode, Mike chats about his training for this year’s Cocodona, his gameplan for race-day execution, and his big motivators going into this year’s race (along with some inspiring takeaways).
Huge thank you to Mike for coming on the show!
