Reporting from The Daily News Now, I'm Corey with the story with the latest entertainment headlines. Michaela Matthews, star of secret lives of Mormon wives, recently revealed her diagnosis with chronic inflammatory response syndrome known as CIRS. The condition has been a years-long battle for the mom of four, including her newest daughter Ladi June, born last July to her and estranged husband, Jason Terry. She opened up for the first time on her Instagram stories on March 18th, explaining how the illness has made parenting tough. Her other kids include eight-year-old Beckham, six-year-old Haven, and four-year-old Tommy. The syndrome affects her nerves, skin, brain, liver, and hormones, leaving her feeling like she's just barely surviving. For about a year and a half, severe skin problems kept her from making eye contact with people. Even so, Michaela views her experience as a chance to help others. She skipped plenty of events and premieres due to symptoms, but pushes through when possible

to show that life goes on. Her main tip for fellow moms is simple, carve out time for yourself. Don't let go of your hobbies or the things you love doing just for you.
