Midlands Boys Basketball Stars Honored

0:00On March 24th, the state just announced their all-area boys basketball teams for Midlands High Schools in the 2025-26 season. The Marcus Thomas from Westwood takes home Player of the Year honors after averaging 23.6 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists to. Lead the Red Hawks to the Class 5-8 Division 2-State title. Trent Robinson of Westwood is coach of the year, while fan votes went to RJ Davis from Ridgeview as player and Joshua Staley as coach. Ridgeview also celebrated a Class 5-8 Division 1 championship, with sophomores RJ Davis and CJ Moore earning first-team spots for there. Double-digit scoring and rebounding. Davis posted 15.2 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, shining in the finals. First-team standouts include Levi Ball from Grey Collegiate, who signed with Kennesaw State after 16.5 points and seven rebounds, and Bracen Stockman from Ben Lippen, a college commit with nearly 29 points a game, and almost 3,000 career points.
