Mickey Rourke Lost Home in LA Rent Dispute

Mickey Rourk, the 73-year-old Oscar-nominated actor, recently lost a court battle over his rental home in Los Angeles. A judge ruled in favor of his landlord, Eric Goldie, granting a media possession of the property and canceling the rest of the lease. Rourk had rented the three-bedroom house since late March, agreeing to pay $5,200 a month. The trouble started when Rourk stopped paying rent, owing around $59,100. His team explained that he would help payments because of serious issues, like ongoing rodent problems and faulty plumbing that the landlord never fixed, despite repeated requests. Earlier this week, the court entered a default judgment after Rourk missed the deadline to respond to the eviction notice. The landlord had given him a three-day warning to pay up or leave back in mid-December, but things dragged on from there. One stepped up with a gold fund me that raised about $100,000, but Rourk turned it down,
