Michigan Basketball Lands Monster Transfer, Thiam

0:00On April 29, Michigan basketball just landed a monster in the transfer portal with 7 foot 2 center Mustafa team from Cincinnati. He's the number 13 overall transfer and third best big man available, stepping in as they expected Daymar to head to the NBA draft. This move sets the Wolverines up strong for the 2026-27 season. Coach Dusty May is hyped about the Am's unique skill set. Unlike their past centers, this guy's got rim protection, runs the floor, shoots threes and dominates inside. May says they'll tweak the system to play through his strengths from the perimeter to the post and in transition. Team already balled out last year, averaging 12.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in the big 12.
