Michael Burton Visits Cleveland Browns as Free Agent

0:00On March 20th, former Denver Broncos' fullback, Michael Burton, visited the Cleveland Browns as a free agent on Friday. The 34-year-old veteran stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 247 pounds. He is suited up for six NFL teams over his career. Burton won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs and twice played under coach Sean Payton with the New Orleans Saints. He joined the Broncos in 2023 and appeared in all 17 games over the next two seasons before a hamstring injury ended his, preseason last year. The Broncos quickly moved on by signing Adam Princes, who earned a new one-year deal after strong play. Burton served mainly as a blocker, but added 14 rushes for 17 yards, including a touchdown, plus 13 catches for 73 yards, and another score. Now one of nine unsigned ex Broncos free agents, Burton draws interest amid Cleveland's roster tweaks. Denver has added two outside players this month alongside 17 in-house extensions.
