Miami Hurricanes Face Missouri in NCAA Tournament

0:00On March 19th, the Miami Hurricanes' men's basketball team earned the seventh seed in the West Regional of the 2026 NCAA tournament, and will face 10th seed in Missouri in the round of 32. The game tips off at 1010 PM Eastern Time on March 20th in St. Louis, Missouri. The Hurricanes enter with a strong 25 and 8 overall record, including 13 wins and 5 losses in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Three players picked up all ACC honors, Malik Reno on the first team, Trey Donaldson on the second team, and Ernest Uday Jr on the defensive team. It's also head coach Jay Lucas' first year, and he's reached 20 wins faster than almost any other first time ACC coach. Miami is making its 13th trip to the Big Dance, the first since their final four run in 2023. They've posted a 15 and 12 mark in tournament play overall, going 7 and 5 in first round games. This is just the second time as a seventh seed after a first round win in 2008.

They're shooting an impressive 50.1% from the floor, leading the ACC and ranking 12th nationally. Fans are buzzing as Miami looks to build on recent success and advance deep into March Madness once again.
