MGD: Built for the Battle

0:00In the morning O Lord, my voice you shahir, in the morning I will direct my prayer. And I will look up, Psalm 5, verse 3, Shalom beloved, welcome to our morning glory devotion, facilitating today's devotion and misdemeanors, the champoyging, let's kindly share a word of prayer. Heavenly Father, bless and grace on our power beyond to your name, as we humble ourselves today to listen to your word, open our hearts and mind to receive your wisdom. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

1:08We'll take our confession from Joshua 1-8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then, I shall make my way prosperous, and then I shall have good success, amen. Beloved, the topic for today's devotion is built for the battle, taken from some, ate him, verse 34, and I read from the King James Version, he teaches my hands to walk, so that a boule of steel is broken by my arm, amen. Build for the battle. There are seasons when the life of the believer does not feel like a journey.

2:14It feels like a battlefield. You are not just managing responsibilities, you are fighting for your peace, fighting for your marriage, fighting for your children, fighting to keep your integrity in a culture that rewards compromise, fighting thoughts that attack your confidence and whisper that you are not enough. Some days you do not feel like you are leaving, you feel like you are surviving, and in those moments you pray, Lord remove this battle. Clear the fute, science, the enemy, but David says something that shits our understanding in some 18 verse 34. He teaches my hands to walk. Notice what David does not say. He does not say God ruled all battles from his life. He says God trained him for them. That means some battles are not interruptions. They are preparation.

3:19Before he ever phased Goliath, he fought predators in the dark. A lion grabbed a lamp and David did not run. A bear attacked and David did not negotiate. He engaged. His truck. He defended what was entrusted to him. No army saw it. No crowd shared it, but heaven marked it. Those lonely fights in the fields, when drills were destiny. Every claw he faced prepared him for a sword. Every unseen victory builds reflexes for a public confrontation. The saying is true for us. The war you are facing may not involve swords, but it is real. It is a discipline to keep praying when answers to Lee. It is a restraint to respond with wisdom instead of anger. It is a strength to keep showing up when you are tied. It is choosing integrity

4:19when compromise could be easier. God teaches your hands to roll through everyday precious. The scripture adds something even more powerful so that a bow of steel is broken by my hands. A bow of steel was not ordinary. It required unusual strength to draw. It was not something that anyone could handle. David said that God strengthened him beyond what was natural. God built capacity in him and that is what many of us are experiencing without realizing it. The pressure feels heavy because it is building strength. The responsibility feels intense because it is expanding capacity. The resistance feels strong because you are being prepared to handle something stronger. Sometimes we ask God to reduce the weight while he is using the weight

5:19to increase our strength. Think about it practical when you first feast certain challenges in life. They overwhelmed you. Now you handle them differently. You respond more calmly. You recover more quickly. You descend more clearly. That did not happen accidentally. That is training. So instead of only praying, Lord, remove this battle. Begin to pray. Lord, strengthen me in it. Is it of axel only for escape? Axe for resilience? Axe for clarity? Axe for courage? Because when defining moments come, you will not have time to prepare. You will respond from what you have already built within you. Beloved, God is streaming your hands for so that when the enemy advances, when the pressure intensifies and when the butter line is drawn,

6:20you will not fall apart. You will realize that you are not fragile. You have been forced through every trial. You are equipped to face a position, to withstand pressure and to stand fair in faith. Amen. We will take a memory verse from some 18 verse 34.
