Washington exploded for six runs in the ninth inning to steal the win after the Met's had tied it up late. New York's record now stands at 11 wins, nine losses, and one tie. Early on, starter David Peterson had a shaky outing, giving up four earned runs over four innings. The Met's fought back with timely hits, including a solo homer from Christine Pache and doubles from Francisco Alvarez and Ronnie Mauricio to grab A. Brief lead. Devin Williams and Christian Scott kept things steady in relief for a bit, but Washington pulled ahead with a triple, wild pitch, and a homer in the middle innings.
