Meet Noel Koons, Counselor, MS, CMHC
Noel is an experienced and empathetic Clinical Mental Health Counselor. He has worked doing one-on-one therapy, couples counseling, as well as working with struggling adolescents and families in wilderness therapy, therapeutic boarding school, and residential treatment settings.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Noel loves working with adults, teens, and families. Inspiring effort and transformations are what continually draw me to this work. He is passionate about assisting people in their healing and growth.
Noel brings a curious, non-judgmental approach to his work while utilizing: mindfulness, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, 7 Challenges, Positive Psychology, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Theory.
