1:04all of these Golanne Maxwell interviews and all these stories on Golanne Maxwell, all of a sudden. I mean, it's almost like Daphne Baroque's dad and Golanne Maxwell were friends. Oh wait, they were? Oh, oh, that's right. Golanne Maxwell's appeal against her 20-year jail sentence for sexual abuse lies in tatters because her estranged husband has refused to pay her lawyers. And are they like in some absurd way trying to make people feel bad for her here? Because I don't think anyone does feel bad for her. Now there might be some folks out there, right? There's always those, oh, I'm going to go against the grain and be edgy types. But real adults, anyone paying attention, they don't have sympathy for this woman, especially considering how many people are languishing away in jail right now with no hope of an appeal. Scott Borgerson, 46, who secretly married Maxwell, 60, in 2016, controls her fortune after she transferred up to 20 million pounds into a trust fund

2:07before her arrest in 2020. And the whole entire thing was she was trying to hide that money from the survivors. So it's kind of delicious here to see Scott Borgerson coming in for the kill. You know, Maxwell's like an injured hippo here. And the alligator comes in, which is Borgerson and slaps its jaws right around its throat. But Borgerson ended the relationship with Maxwell during a phone call to the New York prison where she was awaiting trial. Did she think this guy was going to do anything differently? I mean, he left his wife and kids for, then all of a sudden, Golan Maxwell thinks it's a good idea to transfer all of your money into a trust with this scoundrel. She's getting everything she deserves, folks. Now he has been accused of failing to pay a $900,000 legal bill to her defense team and provide the $1 million required to challenge the conviction. Until the cash is transferred, her legal team is unlikely to meet a January deadline forcing her to face the prospect. She might die behind bars. Whaaap poor Golan. She might die behind

3:14bars. She didn't get enough time. She should have gotten the 35. She only got 20 and she's getting to do it an easy time. They should be happy with that. But no, they're going to keep rocking the boat until they find some sort of chink in the armor. That way they can push through and get her out of the prison. That's their goal, right? That's going to be the goal. Get Golan Maxwell out, Operation Get Golan out. They'll wait a few years for people not to be paying attention, then they'll make their move. Maxwell's pal's fear. He is delaying their divorce and her access to money as a negotiating ploy. Well, why wouldn't he? What do you think he's going to play fair with Golan Maxwell? Why should he? In fact, I can almost guarantee that people are happy as hell to see that Golan Maxwell is getting the old oaky-doked pulled on her by this dude. Considering she was doing the same thing to how many people lying, conniving, working her away into their good graces only

He thinks if he drags it out, she will give him most of the money, said one. She is in jail, not much he can do from there. But a legal source said he doesn't trust what Maxwell's lawyers are telling him. And honestly, with the players on the stage here, I don't trust any of these people, so I guess they're all lying until proven and otherwise. I mean, Borgerson's definitely making a move for the money. That's certainly the kind of person he is. But with Maxwell, zero chance that anybody's out here losing any sleep because Golan Maxwell is getting a scam pulled on her. How many licks did you and Jeffrey Epstein pull on people? How much money did you steal? How many lives did you ruin? Maxwell and Borgerson reportedly met Niseland in 2013. Her relationship with San Diego billionaire Ted Wait had collapsed and friend said she was vulnerable. Borgerson was still

5:19married to his first wife, Rebecca, mother of his young son and daughter. Can you imagine how they always set this up with Maxwell? Oh, she was vulnerable after every breakup. Oh, her dad dead, she was vulnerable. So Jeffrey Epstein got his hooks into her. Like she has no responsibility as an adult here. It's amazing to me that people would continue on that path to try and set her up like some kind of victim. The couple married three years later, but in 2019 after her pal, Jeffrey Epstein, you mean, Cokenspirator, fellow child abuser, was found hanged in his jail cell while awaiting child for sex abuse. Maxwell went into hiding, moving from house to house. I thought that she didn't go into hiding. Remember, she said that the only reason she was moving from house to house was to get away from the media and the paparazzi. Meanwhile, the media was way too busy creating, you know, wedge issues, artificial wedge issues for the populist to deal with. Never mind trying to find a land Maxwell. Up until Julie K Brown released her article, nobody gave it damn what was going on

6:27with Epstein, what was going on with Maxwell, the fact that they raped and heard all of those girls. A few news she and Borgerson had married till it was referenced by her prosecutors at her 2020 trial. That's not true. We knew she was married to him. We talked about it here extensively and not just thus when I say we, I mean the greater community as a whole, people who follow the case, people who are investigating the case and people who are covering the case. We all knew that Borgerson and her were married. We all knew that they were hanging out at man. Her brothers were astonished to find out that not only was she married, but had made all of her money over to Scott, set a source close to the family. Yeah, I'm sure the brothers wanted their peace. They wanted to make sure they got their cut a whole family full of grifters in my opinion. You just take a look at what happened with her, their dad, the brothers being involved in that and everything since then. Borgerson did not visit her in the New York jail once says friends and fell to attend any of the

7:30trial. So what was Borgerson's real plan here was the plan always to just get in on the money. I mean, he left his wife and his kids for Golan Maxwell and then he doesn't even bother going to see Golan Maxwell while she's locked up. Meanwhile, he's mosey and around with some yoga instructor that can crack wall nuts with her glutes. I mean, that's what they were saying, right? So this is Scott Borgerson. This is who he is. Why would Golan Maxwell think anything different? Folks, when people show you who they are, listen to them. And if some dude leaves his family for you, chances are, if something better comes along, he's going to leave you too. Colorado law firm, Hutton Morgan Informant, which acted for Maxwell in the trial, has filed a lawsuit against her and brother Kevin for nearly $900,000. Court documents show she received tens of millions of dollars from Epstein and had sold her New York home for 15 million. So she should have a bunch of money. But again, that money should have been seized. How is it that this

8:31is not a Rico case? I mean, I know you're tired of hearing it by now, but I'm going to continue to say it until my tongue falls out. This is has Rico written all over it. I've seen Rico in my own life with people I care about for way less than this. But here we are with all of these famous people, all of these powerful people, all of these Johns, and nobody goes to prison. Borgerson dismissed the claims as fake news. He pointed to legal testimony from Hutton that he expressed cooperation, transparency and honesty in the discussions. I highly doubt that Scott Borgerson has ever done any of those things ever in his life. Another sick disgusting individual. What are you doing, marrying Golan Maxwell, bro? You knew what she was, you knew what she was up to, and you knew that this was inevitably going to be the road that had to be traversed. And these articles by Daphne Barak that try and elicit people to feel bad for Golan Maxwell are laughable at best. But I guess like they say, you have to consider the source. 10:35the topic on everybody's mind is the corona virus. Well, we have our own virus. We're going to discuss on this podcast today. And that virus is Golan Maxwell. There's a new article out in the Times and the headline is, Jeffrey Epstein's ex Golan Maxwell sues his estate for legal fees. Stop, pause, what? So Golan Maxwell is suing Jeffrey Epstein's estate for legal fees because she says that Epstein said he had promised to pay her legal fees for claims brought against her by his accusers. All right, this article was written by Matthew Goldstein and it legitimately came out 30 minutes ago. The whereabouts of Golan Maxwell, the former girlfriend and longtime associate co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein has been largely a mystery since the registered sex offender pedophile was arrested last summer on sex trafficking charges. Not off to a great start here in the New York Times on what they're wording.

11:39His associate sex trafficking charges. How about pedophile? Okay, that's what he is. Just call him that Mr. Goldstein. It's okay. He's not going to come back from the grave and sue you or anything like that. The guy is a pedophile, all right? But Miss Maxwell is surfaced with a lawsuit against Mr. Epstein's estate saying the financier pedophile who died last year had promised to pay her legal fees for any claims from the dozens of women who say he helped him recruit them to give him massages when they were teenagers. Okay, let's let's let's take a look here. Golan Maxwell, again, is angling to get herself out ahead of this. Again, she's angling to have Jeffrey Epstein's money protect her. And I think this is significant because she wouldn't be making this move if the pressure wasn't on her. And I said it once and I'll say it again. Now that Epstein is dead, these gals don't have access to the money that they had when Epstein was alive. So they don't have the legal representation that they would have had if if if old Jeff was still alive here, right?

12:45Because Epstein would have brought in the big guns. He could have afforded to bring in whoever he wanted to defend them. And he would have left no rock unturned considering they held the keys to the kingdom. And he knows that if any of these girls would have been brought before an interrogator, they would have spilled the beans. And Epstein knew that. That's why they all had such generous compensation packages. That's why they were all taking care of the way they were. And that's why they were all protected legally under that immunity deal. Miss Maxwell brought her suit and superior court in the US Virgin Islands where Mr. Epstein's estate is being probated. The suit was filed on Friday, but not docked it until late Tuesday. She has some nerve. Gieland Maxwell has some F and nerve. So not only was she involved in the abuse of these girls, right? Now she thinks that she's entitled to some of Jeffries Epstein's money to defend herself against these allegations by these girls with the money from the estate that these gals the survivors are entitled to. So basically she's trying to F them twice. It's unbelievable.

13:48It's unbelievable what Gieland Maxwell is up to and what she thinks she'll get away with. Does she really think that she's not going to be dragged over the coals for this? Does she really think that she wasn't going to be put on blast on podcasts around the world over this? Give me a break with this lady. The lawsuit was a rare public movement by Miss Maxwell, who has kept the low profile since Mr. Epstein's death last August in federal custody. She remains a central figure in the investigation by federal prosecutors in Manhattan who are looking into associates of Mr. Epstein. Investigators are trying to determine who may have assisted him in recruiting young girls and women to be sexually abused and who may have moved money to further his efforts. That's a significant piece there too, huh? Who moved his money? Well, let's start with Jess Staley. How about that? How much money did Glenn Dubin move for him? How much money do less Wexner move for him? All right. If we're talking about whose moving money, then we're going to have to really get down in the weeds, right? And we're going to have to really talk about who's moving money because as you all know, I totally 100% believe that there

14:52was a ton, a ton of money longer in going on here. And you see it by the transaction history. You see it by these fake banks that he popped up in the Virgin Islands and you just see it by the way things are unfolding when it comes to his finances. Miss Maxwell, whose father was the late British media mogul, Robert Maxwell, has hired a team of lawyers from New York, Colorado, and California to monitor the ongoing criminal investigation and defend her in lawsuits filed by Mr. Epstein's accusers. My question is this, where is Gilein getting all of this money? If she had, if any of this money came from Jeffrey Epstein, how was she still having, how did she still have access to it? If it was you or I and we were involved in some sort of criminal experience, uh, enterprise, all of our funds would be frozen. Every last dollar would be frozen. They'd have forensic accountants on it. They'd be all over it, folks. All right. But yet Gilein Maxwell is still somehow

15:53accessing pools and pools of money to defend herself from this onslaught of lawsuits. Where's the money coming from? Who is protecting her? Who is giving her these resources? And the question is why are they doing it? In her complaint, Miss Maxwell, 58, alludes to the once intimate relationship she had with Mr. Epstein describing herself as a long time employee who formed a legal and special relationship with him. But the complaint said Miss Maxwell had no involvement in or knowledge of Epstein's alleged misconduct. That is such bullshit. That is such bullshit. All right. And the investigators are still looking at evidence to see if Gilein Maxwell was involved. What does that even mean? Just go ahead and read the, the, the, the, the, the, the filthy rich book. And you'll see just how involved Gilein Maxwell was. Just talk to any of these survivors. And you'll see just how involved Gilein Maxwell was. What do you mean? You're still trying to compile evidence. What a, Berman is just a joke at this point. Quit dragging your

16:58feats, sir, and do your job. The suit says she has incurred significant legal fees, personal security costs, and other expenses. Nobody cares. Nobody cares about your legal fees, or your personal expenses. Nobody cares about any of it. We want you arrested, okay? Gilein Maxwell, we all think you're guilty. That's all of our opinions, okay? We think you're as guilty as it comes. We also think that you were the brains behind the operation, all right? And you have some, you have some gall trying to go after some of this money here and another slap in the face to the survivors. How dare you? Because of her work for a number of Mr. Epstein's businesses from 1999 to 2006. Among those tasks, the lawsuit said was managing Mr. Epstein's homes in the Virgin Islands, New York, Paris, Florida, and New Mexico. The suit says she also worked for his COUQ foundation. She wasn't just the house manager, folks. That's a bunch of bullshit. Absolute

17:58and utter bullshit, okay? She was the under boss, the brains behind the operation. She was the one that was the vehicle to get this all started. Don't forget that, folks, and don't let these articles ever sway your opinion of that, right? This broad, this lady, this piece of shit needs to be arrested ASAP. The lawsuit says that before Mr. Epstein died, he said he would pay her legal fees in connection with other lawsuits that listed her as a defendant. According to the complaint, Ms. Maxwell sent the estate a letter in November demanding, I demnification, for all those costs citing promises Mr. Epstein had made in writing and verbally about supporting her financially. Those commitments, the suit said, have not been honored. Well, since we're at it, Jeffrey Epstein also told me that he wanted to give Virginia Roberts $50 million. How about that? That's what he told me. That's last I, last time I talked old Jeff, he said $50 million for

18:59Virginia Roberts, easy peasy. And he also said he wanted to give him Rio Farmer $50 million. So let's bring that into a suit, too. All right. How ridiculous. How utterly ridiculous for Gullain Maxwell to run around and act like, oh, well, Jeffrey and I had a conversation where he said he had been paying my legal fees. Yeah, right. Yeah, right. Nobody believes you. That money isn't for you to touch. That money's going to these survivors. You're not getting one scent, Gullain. All you're getting is a one-way trip to a jail cell, okay? Maybe you and your friend Sarah Kellan-Vickers will be at the same facility and you guys can have nice little chats in the yard. The lawsuit was filed by lawyers from the firm of Quintaros, Prieto, Wooden Boyer, which has an office in the Virgin Islands. Messages left at the office on Wednesday morning were not immediately returned. An attorney for Mr. Epstein's estate did not immediately return messages seeking comment. They never do. None of these attorneys ever, ever, ever, ever want a comment, right?

20:01They're all, you know, they have big loud mouths when they want to run to the papers, but they never want to answer any hard questions, any pointed questions. All they want to do is toss their narrative out there and hope that it catches and it takes with mainstream media. That's what these lawyers like to do. Before the big stock market sell off, prompted by concern over the coronavirus is the subject of litigation across multiple fronts. Nearly three dozen women have brought claims against the estate saying they were sexually abused by Mr. Epstein as teenagers at his residences in New York, the Virgin Islands, and New Mexico. And let's not forget London. Let's not forget France. Look, you see folks, again, I don't mean to dive into this this way, but this is why I do these daily drops in these morning updates and read these articles. That way we can read between the lines, right? And we can look at what's going on here. And you know, these these articles leave a lot out most of the time, and they just scratched the surface. So if you weren't aware of the case and you didn't know what was going on with the Jeffrey Epstein situation, there is a bunch of inaccuracies in this article

22:06that you would be taking as fact, and then you would be going to spread those to your friends if you were interested in this. You see the problem with the media? This is the problem with the media, right here, right in our front of our face. Many of the women have filed claims in related lawsuits anonymously. And some of those lawsuits, mismatched as the name does either a co-defendant or someone who assisted Mr. Epstein in the abuse. Well, duh, that's exactly what she was. She wasn't a house manager, she isn't a victim, and she doesn't deserve one single cent of this money to put towards her criminal defense. The executors of Mr. Epstein's will are seeking to establish a restitution program funded by the estate's assets to provide financial relief to victims without litigation. But the creation of the fund has been delayed by actions taken by the attorney general of the US Virgin Islands, who has said she wants to make sure that victims have a voice in the process. Oh yeah, that's what she means. That's what she wants. That's all Denise George cares about. She doesn't want the funds from the islands or anything like that. It's all about

23:08the survivors. The estate is tapped Kenneth R. Feinberg, one of the nation's best-known administrators of restitution funds, and Jordana Feldman, a lawyer who worked closely with Mr. Feinberg, on the September 11th victim compensation fund to oversee payments to Mr. Epstein's victims. Denise George, the attorney general for the Virgin Islands, said in a recent interview that she does not object to a restitution fund being created, but she wants the survivors to be able to choose a fund administrator, along with the administrators chosen by the estate. That's a good thing. I said that as well. I would like an independent arbiter to be involved in this. I want somebody who has no connections to Jeffrey Epstein or his buddies or his lawyers or anyone around him to be involved in this, but I also want that person to say to Denise George, you're not getting one single shiny dime. We have always had the position that the survivors have to be properly compensated,

24:10Ms. George said, but there has always been the concern that victims didn't have part in picking the administrator. We're at a point now, folks, where Gilein Maxwell and Denise George are both trying to siphon money off of this trust. Gilein Maxwell is saying in her crazy ass reality, whatever reality that she's living in, she believes that she deserves some of the money from the estate to defend her, from the accusers who are the ones who are really entitled to that money. So she's trying to do the double whammy on these survivors and it's disgusting. It makes me sick to even read that article. This woman needs to be stopped. She needs to be pulled out of whatever hole she's hiding in and she needs to be dragged before the justice of the world. All right? Because enough is enough, enough is enough with Gilein Maxwell, folks. How many times are we going to hear about her being involved in this case and another story from one of the survivors about how she

25:10was abused by Maxwell as well as Epstein? How many more of these stories do we have to hear before Berman stops dragging his feet and steps up to the plate? I hope it's soon. I really hope it's soon because the day that she has arrested, I already told you we're popping bottles on this podcast. I don't even drink, but we are popping bottles on this podcast. The day that this lady gets arrested and it's coming. I'm telling you, folks, 2020, this is the year. This is the year that the predator turns into the prey. Now on our way here, we have heard some powerful testimony by the survivors, by people corroborating their stories and by people who have put Golan Maxwell right in the center of Jeffrey Epstein's operations. Now the goal of the defense is going to be to poke holes in all of that testimony. They're going to try and go after the credibility of not only the witnesses,

27:19but the specialists that were brought up, doctors that were brought up, you name it. And we're hearing now after a late night filing that not only that, but the defense is looking to bring three lawyers who have represented survivors in as witnesses, one of them, Jack Scorola, the other Mr. Glassman, and then the third Bradley Edwards. Now those of you who have been following the Epstein case, you're pretty familiar with Jack Scorola and Bradley Edwards for sure. Bradley Edwards has been at the forefront as a lawyer battling Jeffrey Epstein and his cohorts for a very, very, very long time. So much so that Jeffrey Epstein had his goons put in the press on Bradley Edwards, going through his trash, all kinds of wild shit. So the defense is now looking to call these three lawyers up to talk about the motivations

28:22of their clients would be my guess. And I find it kind of weird, right? What about lawyer client privilege? So you're going to call these lawyers up and ask them what them and their clients were talking about? That's a little odd no. And furthermore, if I'm the the defense, I don't know if I want Bradley Edwards up there talking about anything because if you want to see somebody who has, you know, a map to where all the bodies are buried that we know about, it's Bradley Edwards. Nobody has been at the forefront of this case as far as lawyers go for longer. The guy has been in a tooth and nail bear knuckles scrap with Jeffrey Epstein's people since pretty much this all began. And now they're trying to call him as a witness up to the stand to try and punch holes in his credibility or to try and make it seem like there's some sort of financial motivation for

29:25these ladies. Now, again, this has been their strategy from the beginning. And anyone who thinks that they're going to deviate from the course, they have not been paying attention. They have been striking home this message since before the trial started and they're going to continue that with their witnesses that they're going to be bringing up namely Elizabeth Loftus. Elizabeth Loftus is a memory expert and according to an article in I believe the New Yorker, the woman who changed what memory is or some such nonsense. Guess what? I'm not buying it. Okay? They brought her out in the Weinstein case, few other cases. How did those cases turn out for Weinstein and his friends? Not so good, right? Because guess what? You can bring out a pig and you can put some lipstick on that pig. But guess what? At the end of the day, the pig is still a pig. So she's going to come out and attempt to frame it

30:33as these survivors, misremembering these survivors, not really knowing what happened to them. The whole thing. And I've got to think that the jury is going to be able to see right through it. The same way they were able to see right through it with Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby and the rest of them. I would think that with all of the evidence present here, all of the testimony provided by the witnesses previously would go a long way in disputing what Elizabeth Loftus has to say. Now, she is an expert in her field. There's no doubt about it. She's worked for the Robert Durst, O.J. Simpson and Harvey Weinstein as I just stated. And in the words of a New York profile on the controversy surrounding her expertise, Elizabeth Loftus has changed the meaning of memory. And her life's work is collided with the

31:37Me Too movements moment of cultural reckoning. In particular, Loftus has questioned the reliability of memory and how she believes suggestion can mold it. She has also testified about her research during the trials of Jerry Sandusky, Ted Bundy, and Paul Shanley, a now deceased priest who served 12 years in prison following his conviction for raping a child. So basically, if you're a scumbag and you've been accused of sexual misconduct or abusing somebody or raping somebody, Elizabeth Loftus should be on your speed dial. You know, it's crazy to think that all of these people use the same experts and then you look at all of these people who use these experts and none of them get off. So how much of an expert are these experts really? That little excerpt we were just talking about is from the from long crime, by the way. And it goes on to say that in a two-page order Monday

32:37morning, blah, blah, blah, judge Allison Nathan, granted Maxwell permission to call Loftus. So that's looking back a little bit on the decision to allow Loftus to be called. She is like I said, a specialist in memory and she is somebody that they're going to bring forth to try and punch holes in the testimony given previously. They're going to try and make it seem like the whole grooming allegation is BS bunk, like it doesn't exist. They're going to talk about how there is not enough science to back all of that up. And these are the witnesses that they're going to use to lay out their case. You're also going to hear from Park Deats, a forensic psychiatrist who rose to national prominence during the case of Ronald Reagan's would be a assassin, John Hinckley Jr. And he was ultimately

33:40acquitted, obviously, by reasons of insanity. Deats is being called here to question the prosecution's claims that Maxwell groomed her alleged victims. So again, they're going to be calling Deats here to go after those claims that there was grooming involved. And Park Deats is going to make the case that there's no there's no theory that has gained any acceptance, let alone general acceptance in the relevant community. It has not been peer reviewed. It is not and cannot be tested. And there is no known known or potential rate of error. And that is about grooming by proxy, which obviously Maxwell is being charged with. So what they're trying to say here by bringing Park Deats in to back up their assertions is that there was no grooming done here. Maxwell wasn't grooming anybody. She was just playing the role of concerned citizen. You know, basically her own boys and girls club. She's just there to help people out. She would never be

34:42involved in anything sinister. Meanwhile, the testimony from these survivors tell us a completely and opposite story. And as far as Park Deats goes, remember, during the Andrea Yates case, he had a a hit to his reputation after it was discovered that part of his testimony was in true. And when the first Texas Court of Appeals concluded that Deats mentioned of it, as well as a prosecutor's subsequent claim that it inspired Yates to commit a desperate act, could have had an impact on the Jerry's verdict. So basically he was up there making up nonsense. And it affected the Andrea Yates case. Now, I'm certainly no expert in that field. But when it comes to experts like this, like this Park Deats guy, you got to think that the prosecution is going to bring that up during cross, right? To punch some holes into his testimony. You know, if it's going to be a game of credibility, then the prosecution better get on board during cross

35:45here and hammer these folks for their credibility and for what they have said and done in the past. Right? If it's good for the goose and all. So those are a couple of the specialists that we can expect to be called for Galein Maxwell. And obviously there's going to be a lot more. And like I mentioned earlier, they're also pining to get those three lawyers that I mentioned, Bradley Edwards, Jack Skarola, and Mr. Glassman in as witnesses as well. Now, I'm not too sure how that's going to land for them, how it's going to work out. But we'll keep our eye on it and and and see where it ends up because like I was saying, Bradley Edwards has been a foreign in the side of the Jeffrey Epstein criminal conspiracy enterprise for quite some time. And I think they might be getting a little bit more than they bargained for trying to get Bradley Edwards up on that stand. So today,

36:49we're going to finish off the episode by talking about this article from Reuters. And the author is Luke Cohen. And what they're talking about here is how Maxwell's lawyers are going to focus her defense on memory manipulation and money. Now, set the groundwork here about that with the two experts that are going to be their quote-unquote star witnesses. And we know what the game plan is. So let's jump into this article from Reuters and let's see what they've come up with. Glan Maxwell's attorneys will likely focus on portraying the British socialite, Cokin spiritor, General All-around Scuzzbag, a ledged child abuser, and you know, bipedal serpent, accusers as untrustworthy and motivated by money when they start presenting their case in her sex abuse trial on Thursday, according to legal experts and court filings. Now, what other pathway do they have to try and get Maxwell off folks? They don't have any other

37:55path to victory here. All they can hope for is that they do enough of a job with their bombing runs to punch enough holes in the testimony of the survivors and the experts brought forward to back up the testimony of the survivors so that it looks like there's enough doubt there that Maxwell gets off. That's what they're trying to do. They don't have any receipts. They can't prove that Maxwell is innocent here and obviously the burden of proof is not on them. But they're going to continue to try and punch holes in the testimony that we have heard for the last two weeks and they're going to bring these specialists along like Park Deets and Elizabeth Loftis to try and further those goals. Now, remember, it's going to be up to the prosecution to slap back and make sure that they're asking the right questions. Now, from the previous behavior and the previous

39:00way the prosecution has won about things, I'm not all that confident here that they're going to be able to handle the cross correctly because let's be real. They haven't shown to be some great office of prosecutors so far. They've had a mountain of evidence. Sure seem to be making it a little bit more difficult than they need to know. But it's going to be up to them to try and make sure they blunt the testimony that's going to be provided by the so-called experts for the defense. Prosecutors rested their case on Friday after two weeks of emotional, often explicit testimony from four women who said Maxwell recruited and groomed them for abuse by the late financier, pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, when the women were teenagers. The women portrayed Maxwell as central to their abuse by Epstein, a globe trotting financier, pedophile, who died by suicide

40:04allegedly in 2019 in jail while awaiting trial on sex abuse charges. So we're still calling her a socialite and we're calling Epstein a globe trotting financier? Come on, legacy media get with it already. A globe trotting financier, how about a convicted sex offender and pedophile? That's probably the right way to talk about Jeffrey. Maxwell 59 has pleaded not guilty to eight counts of sex trafficking in other crimes in federal court in New York. During cross examination, her lawyers tried to undermine the women's credibility by asking about inconsistencies in their accounts and about awards they received from a fund for Epstein's victims. Now again, I think that that's going to backfire for the defense. You're bringing up the money that was paid out by Jeffrey Epstein's estate to these women. Now what that tells me is that Jeffrey Epstein's estate has taken responsibility for the behavior

41:06of the late Jeffrey Epstein and they've admitted that he committed these acts abuse these girls. So you're bringing this up is just strengthening the case telling everybody yeah that these girls were abused so much so that they were paid out by Epstein's estate. So you mean to tell me during all this time that Maxwell was with them? Maxwell was hanging out, Maxwell was grooming them, she had nothing to do with it. So I think that's a folly as far as the defense goes and I would hope that the prosecution would press that advantage a little bit but they don't seem to be doing that. This case is about memory manipulation and money. Maxwell's attorney Bobby Sternham said in her November 29th opening statement and they told us from jump street what they were going to do, right? Memory manipulation and money and they've stayed on course the whole entire time they've pounded it at home. Now have they done a good enough job thus far to sway the jury. I don't think so

42:11but they have stayed on target. They've stayed on message and they have continued their full scale bombing run over the witnesses credibility and they have not strayed from that kind of strategy this whole entire time. One of Maxwell's expected expert witnesses is Elizabeth Loftus, a psychologist who studies how people can be manipulated into having false memories. She is testified in or consulted for hundreds of trials including those of OJ Simpson and Harvey Weinstein. So what they're trying to say here is that these girls were manipulated into having these false memories by lawyers and other people who are looking for a payday. That's their defense. When you break it all down and you crush it down to the basic neurons of it that is what it is. That these girls were manipulated. These girls were scared in this direction by lawyers. There was no abuse here.

43:13Just some lawyers trying to get rich. That's basically what the defense is. But undermining the accuser's credibility remains an uphill battle said Duncan Levin, managing partner at Tucker Levin PLLC. It's straight out of the playbook Levin said but it's a heavy lift to ask jurors to discount what the accusers may be saying because they got money. Look at at the end of the day. It comes down to this. Jeffrey Epstein was dead and gone. How well, are these girls supposed to get restitution from Jeffrey Epstein if he's dead and gone? Should they have him dug up and put on trial as a corpse? The only restitution, the only way to get any payback here was to sue the estate or to get money out of the compensation fund. And once you get that money, you're also getting the admission that Epstein did this to you. So while they continue with the money, I would think that the prosecution and jurors are going to see right through that play.

44:18The defense has said its case will last between two and four days, calling Maxwell. Given the women's compelling testimony, the defense's best bet may be calling Maxwell herself to testify, said Zachary Margulis Onuma, principal attorney at ZMO law PLLC. The jury is going to believe the gist of what the witnesses are saying. Margulis Onuma said, the only real counter to that is Maxwell coming back and saying, no, I didn't intend that. Boy, that would be something. If they put Maxwell up on the stand, that will be something to see. I have my reservations about thinking that's going to occur, but again, maybe they feel like that's their only hope. Little hell marry time. But I wouldn't be too confident in having Maxwell get up on that stand. Now, we'll see, right? We'll see what her defense decides to do, but man, that would be something else. Maxwell's attorneys have not indicated whether or not they plan to call her to the stand.

45:26According to prosecutors, Maxwell's team also intends to call Robert Glassman and attorney for a woman known as Jane, who testified that she was first abused by Epstein in 1994 when she was 14 and Maxwell took part in some of the encounters. At issue, as weather glassman told Jane, that cooperating with prosecutors would assist her claim with the fund, which the defense says could taint her testimony. Jane testified that she was awarded $5 million from the compensation fund, established by Epstein's estate. So again, trying to manipulate the situation, trying to turn it into something that it's not, oh, well, the lawyer told her that this would make her a case better. So, I mean, come on, really. You mean to tell me if this was your daughter or your sister? You wouldn't tell her to go for the Monty and go after whatever sort of financial restitution is available? It's ridiculous. It's totally ridiculous.

46:30During cross-examination, Maxwell attorney, Laura Meninger, pressed Jane on why she did not mention Maxwell's alleged role in the abuse during her 2019 conversations with law enforcement. Sternum said Jane only tagged Galein when money was on the line, and that all four women enhanced their claims by cooperating. So again, it's all about the money, right? All about the money. God, there's no way that any of these girls could have been abused. Maxwell is just a pillar of the community. It's obvious that they're all just going after the vast fortune of Galein Maxwell. Jane testified that she did not believe helping prosecutors would boost her claim. The fund considered whether a claimant's assertions matched up with any law enforcement findings, but it is a stretch to say that cooperating enhanced the woman's claims. Said Lori Levinson, a professor at Loyola Law School. There is no requirement that a victim

47:31cooperate or testify for the prosecution said Levinson, who reviewed the fund's protocol at Reuters request. So basically, Laura Levinson, who is a professor at Loyola, shoots that claim down right away, saying that these witnesses didn't even have to testify. They could have took their money and forgot about it all and not put themselves on the firing line here, not had their credibility attacked, not had their persons attacked by Maxwell under team. But they didn't do that, did they? Here they are testifying an open court, testifying against Maxwell, and hopefully trying to bring her to justice for what they say she did to them. In a sign that undercutting Jane's testimony is important to the defense prosecutors said last week that Maxwell's team also sought a subpoena for Jane's brother. Jane testified that her brothers also knew Epstein during the 90s.

48:32So again, that's what it comes down to folks and that's what we can expect tomorrow when the defense begins to mount their case. It's going to be about the memory, it's going to be about manipulation and like everything else, it's going to be about the money. We'll have to see where it goes from there and we'll have to see what the prosecution does to try and counter that. But there's an outline on what to expect in the next couple of days, few days. And I'm really interested to see if Maxwell herself takes the stand. I think we'll know a little bit more as tomorrow commences and we kind of get a feel for how the trial is going. I guess we'll see if the defense feels it necessary to go for the big guns and put Maxwell on the stand. I think that if we see Maxwell take the stand, that will signal that things are not going the way that the defense wants them to go. But we'll have to see because one thing I have learned in the past three years
