Nashville Predators traded forward Michael McCarrion to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday for a second-round pick in the 2028 NHL draft. The 30-year-old Power Forward adds size and grid up front for Minnesota as they push toward the playoffs. This season, McCarrion posted 12 points with 5 goals and 7 assists over 59 games for Nashville. He led the Predators in hits at 165, rank third in block shots with 60, and top forwards in penalty kill time at 2 minutes 29 seconds per game. McCarrion enters the final year of a two-year contract worth $1.8 million, carrying an average annual value of $900,000. Signed with Nashville last February 16th, he brings better an experience from his draft days.
