They’ve been called “the band with the wildest story ever told”.

Considered founding fathers of the Norwegian Black Metal scene, their 1994 album, De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas is considered one of the most influential black metal albums of all time.

Today, with all of that history behind them, founding bassist, Necrobutcher, drummer Hellhammer, singer Attila and guitarists Ghul and Teloch continue the bands musical legacy with their 2019 release, Daemon, the band’s 6th full length album.

One of the things I love about hosting The Fuzzy Mic is finding out what people are really like and comparing it with my impression of how I think they are.

I’ve gone on record that throughout my 30-year radio career, my favorite interviews have been with Henry Winkler (The Fonz), Keith Urban and boxing promoter Don King. I now add Mayhem guitarist Teloch to my list.
