May 11 Abortion is not Health Care
What do you think of when you hear the term "health care?" First thought that comes to my mind is going to the doctor and getting some care because there's something wrong. In fact, this morning I went to the chiropractor because I threw my back out. I got care and I feel better. Why then is abortion called "health care?" What's wrong with the body and what does the care entail? Abortionists refuse to talk about the method by which that health care is delivered. It's just too gruesome. They're taking a living being. But give it enough time, the pre-born baby will become a perfectly normal human being. It's not going to become something else. All it needs is a little bit of time and the mother's umbilical cord. I'm pro-life, so I think everybody should have a chance to live. I'm also a retired English teacher, and in the case of abortion, I don't think we should use the life-affirming words "health care."
