Las Vegas Raiders star Ed Rusher Max Crosby opened up on his new podcast about a wild near-trade to the Baltimore Ravens that fell through last week. The 28-year-old flew into Washington, D.C. drove to Baltimore and showed up at the Ravens facility on March 10th for a physical exam. Crosby had knee surgery in January to fix a torn meniscus. The doctors there seemed unsure and wanted more opinions, leaving him waiting around. Without meeting key team leaders, his surgeon assured him over the phone that his knee was on track and ready for training camp, calming his nerves during the tense weight. In the end, the Ravens backed out of the deal just minutes after assuring him it was still alive, so Crosby flew home to Vegas that night and recommitted fully to the Raiders for the long haul.
