0:00thirty two hundred yard at at the emerald store and prime sale uh... rbv rule are the benchmark when it comes to selling cattle through the central highlands map here joins us this morning uh... uh... uh... really big yarding a cattle um... and it comes up the back of some really good rain and then obviously uh... couple of weeks without sales mac good morning and thanks so much for being with us a morning how was it made um... that's a big yarding a cattle no question in any language and i know it wasn't a special store sale but just off the back before we start just give us an update on on what has been a phenomenal late season um... and still has been very beneficial to the central highlands oh look it has double particularly get that rained at early part of march which is follow up rain from that really good start that these guys have had things basically need to like january uh... you know the central highlands season was is really popping um you know probably unfortunately if you're among being grass you're probably pulling your hair out because you've had

1:01this fantastic moisture opportunity that just keeps on raining on you but uh... from a grass point of view things are really really top here at the moment yeah and that's the big thing phenomenal phenomenal and so the dams even you know it's had it's sort of mid 30s am i right in saying that from a from a so there'll be an allocation given this year well i think there are 89 percent allocation up till 30 June and then obviously they're going to review that from there uh... we'd certainly love to see some more flow into that dam but uh... yes significant rain in that last flow particularly sort of anarchy right frown through to spring shore which is all beneficial into that catchment so 3200 head gives a lot of hope how was that job we'll start with the store job look it was pretty competitive dole by there's no doubt when you compare these rates from where a larfa was two weeks ago that things were softer but uh... it is probably that tends to be the general term right across the moment but things were very competitive we had a really good turn up a boy and um... limited numbers of heavy fetus tears there yesterday

2:03480 for those best of those ready to go entry rate sort of cattle uh... and 456 for your fetus tears but we had some good runs of very good wiener cattle there yesterday uh... are you accredited uh... all being the ticking boxes you know making just on for six dollars for a steer and about four fifty six for a so uh... but very competitive and plenty of people there wanting to be part of it the big thing about it um... you know when you look at that and you and you look at that heavy fetus tea um... you know and you get some prices like four fifty six that that that that that shows that there's competition um... i think i think the real the real benefit of it was that you know you two eighty to three fifty i mean that was a very strong as well that got to four fifty two as well so that market is very strong at the moment for that steer job how was the hepper job yeah look very good we probably had limited numbers of of heffes there on the day uh... but look generally very good into that it's sort of mid to

3:06mid to sort of four dollar range again for those four fifty six the four sixty sort of thing for those heffes again those good prospered calves there sort of plenty of attraction there and and and but it's competitive you know we've got you're not looking down at the granted two or three operators there's five or six there all wanting to be part of it mate uh... talk to me about the the prime job i mean this the store job is going to handle itself but the prime job is the one that we're all looking at now it was a fraction easier in roamer um... just because of the numbers coming did you see some easing of it because of the backlog and how they're trying to operate to try and keep continue to kill but they obviously getting a lot of cattle for owner at the moment yeah for sure and and probably yesterday at at emerald double it was probably one of the better finishes of fat cattle that we've had an emerald for a long time you know it was nearly a bit over a thousand prime stock on offer and some of the cows there they're just magnificent runs of cows plenty of white and color but best of our bullets yesterday four forty seven very best of those

4:07slaughter heffes up to four fifty and the very best of those good heavy prime care for three eighty seven so they certainly a soften from two weeks ago but it's competitive you know and i think it's a pretty strong showing yeah and obviously some really good results um... up there now you you will have another sale next week um... and obviously you know overreached it you'll shut that week of Easter um... fifth of may is your winner and feed a sale um... and obviously there's a lot a lot happening emerald auction center can you talk to us about that obviously um that they're obviously you're going to uh... have another sale coming up shortly as well and you're taking listings yeah that's right don't know so our bookings are closed on the second of april for our middle of april auction um... so the guys are on the road at the moment they're um... johns and macaque another bullet and a couple other lads are often sort of rocky in the lights there to get some gear so we've got sort of guys on the road at the moment just loading the items up for that auction
